The other day I hiked up to the Makapu’u Lighthouse, which was built in 1909. There are sweeping views of the coastline, mountains and ocean on the way up. The spot’s also supposed to be great for humpback whale watching between December and April.

I hope to go to Hawaii eventually, it looks so serene. I’m also an Aggie, graduated 10 years ago and actually thinking of going back now for grad school!
