A Rose Mylady. I love the sound of that! 🙂

So did anything up there catch your eye?

I think the Powder Eyeshadows look pretty neat. I haven’t had a chance to really test them yet, but they’re bursting with pigment, and they feel pretty soft.

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

P.S. How was Monday? I hope everything went well today.

I just finished dinner (white rice and Thai basil with fish and veggies), and I think I’m going to try to start my packing. I say “try” because I usually wait until the last minute, but I reeeeealy don’t want to do that again.

Packing is my Achilles’ heel, but I’ve been slowly getting better at it over the years. I don’t think I’ll ever get to where I can just throw a few handfuls of stuff in a bag like El Hub does and be done in 10 minutes, but if I can get it down to three hours, I’d shout “It’s a miracle!”

I’ve seen all but the lipsticks and polishes at my CVS here in Hayward. I’m really looking forward to your reviews! Good luck with your packing! I’m a very poor packer because when I see a suitcase all of a sudden EVERYTHING is a must-have! LoL

The last three eyeshadows you showed are just up my street. I’ll have to check if Milani is available in Belgium.

I really hope the eye shadows and shadow pencils will be available at my local cvs, they all look so pretty and pigmented! The eye shadow in ‘shocking pink’ looks very reminiscent of sugarpill’s ‘dollipop’ but much cooler toned. Thank you so much karen for yet again a wonderful pic heavy swatchfest/first look of makeup goodies! 🙂

Everything looks great but I’m very interested in the shadow eyez pencils since they remind me so much of the NYX jumbo eye pencils.

Everything looks soooo gorgeous! And im glad theyre bringing back their non marble-ized single eyeshadows! I have a few of those from their previous incarnation and they are awesome!

I hate packing too… soooo time consuming and there’s that endless debate of “do i need this or this?”… Hang in there!

You are too funny. Three hours to pack, huh? This is why you always look put together. 🙂 I have to say I’m an El Hub-style packer myself!

There’s a lot to choose from in these Milani swatches but I’m very distracted by the black/white/pink shadows together. That color combo (and black/white/red) always reminds me of an 80s prom. 🙂

I want everything. Why do I even read this blog when I know I have no self control?

I’m trying to finish my 10 page paper. It’s due tonight, so I have to speed write! It’s about how Native American artists of the past helped preserve Native culture through art, and how they influenced current Native artists.

Good luck with packing, Karen! It also takes me a while, but after all the coming and going I’ve done I’m reasonably good at packing!

Can’t wait to see all these goodies! The eyeshadows in particular look mega interesting to me!

Yesterday was my last university class. I’ve now earned two Bachelors degrees, one in Psychology and the second in Anthropology. In this new reality I feel confused and adrift. I don’t have a job lined up yet and there are no more essays or projects that need completing. Its darn strange! Any words of advice from those who have been there before?

When my husband and I go on a trip he throws his bathroom stuff in a plastic grociery bag. Full sized shampoo bottle, mouthwash, the works. I’ve been teaching him there are lighter and smaller options out there. 🙂

I wonder if the eyeshadows are the same size as MAC and Urban Decay eyeshadows. I love to depot my eyeshadows and place them in my Stars Makeup Haven eyeshadow palette (it fits 28 eyeshadows). Hopefully, the Milani eyeshadows are the same size as my other eyeshadows because they look gorgeous!

Good luck with packing! I actually make lists and put them with each bag I take, so I know what I’m taking so that I don’t leave it behind. Especially if some of my nicer, more expensive makeup comes along, I don’t want to lose or leave behind any of that!

Milani is stepping up their game. Those eye pencils look a lot like Urban Decay’s. I’d be curious to see how long they wear and if they crease (with and without primer. I always wear eye primer anyways just because even the best shadows wear off me later in the day without it!). I recently bought the new marbelized shadows, Green Fortune, and the gold marbelized one. They wore very well and didn’t crease or wear off all day with my primer. Green Fortune made my green-hazel eyes look more green! Love the color. Olympic Blue reminds me of another color Milani had, called Pool Blue or something similar. Anyways, good luck and have fun on your trip!

Oh my goodness–Gold Dust, Caramel Brown and Just Perfect look pretty!!! Milani has really been stepping it up lately!! I wonder if the shadow pencils will be a dupe for the new MUFE ones (like their Liquif’eye liner was supposedly dupe for the Aqua Eyes liner). And damn, the Natural Touch and Pink Slippers polishes are gorgeous! So perfect for spring/summer. I’m sure Pink Slippers will be a huge hit, in the vein of Dior Bikini, Laura Mercier Cabana, etc.

    Can’t wait for the reviews!

It’s ashame that most of these products won’t work on my mild oily lids…the only ones that I’ll b buying is smash black, brown and doubt obout the shocking pink eyeshadow creams.
I wanted the paint shadow compact but they don’t look as pigmented. I’m tired of shimmer or metallic eyeshadows…I’m still waiting on MATTE EYESHADOW PALETTE!!!!!!!!

By the way my CVS s always out of Milani products every time I go…luckily there is one that is about to be done build up, near me. N-e WAY HOW COME THERES A LOT OF CVS and WALGREENS IN EVERY 5 CORNER BLOCKS AT CALIFORNIA??? S kinda awkward b cus I mostly purchase my makeup products at WALMART, BIG LOTS OR TARGET where the makeup and produce is cheaper 😉
