7 Steals: Benefit and Lorac Cosmetics for $10 or Less

March 4th, 2009 by Karen 24 Comments

7 steals makeup from benefit and lorac for 10 dollars or less

Shiver me timbers, ladies! Last night I searched high and low for budget beauty booty and found some great deals from Benefit and Lorac.

Check out these items on sale for $10 or less…

7 Steals: Makeup from Benefit and Lorac Cosmetics for $10 or Less

1. Benefit Silky Powder Eye Shadow, $9 (originally $18)
Imagine how dramatic your eyes could look with one (or two or three) of these silky matte eyeshadow shades.

2. Benefit Kohl Eye Pencils, $9 (originally $18)
You can never have enough smudgy eye kohls, LOL! Tuxedo (a midnight blue) and Royale (a deep violet) look hot!

3. Benefit The Gloss, $8 (originally $16)
Seven colors are on sale, including one of my favorite purple glosses, Kiss Me (a creamy violet). It can be an intimidating shade at first (scared the heck out of me), but I think it’s surprisingly wearable.

4. Benefit Silk Lip Pencils ($9, originally $18)
Looking to build your lip pencil collection? How about adding one of these creamy pencils in pink, plum, brown or red?

5. Lorac CD3 Palette in Island Escape ($10, originally $48!)
This beachy palette — with pinks, greens and browns — looks perfect for a weekend getaway. You get five eyeshadows, a blush, a lip and cheek tint and lipgloss.

6. Lorac Maui Wowie Full Face Kit ($10, originally $37)
If you like shimmer, consider this tropical palette. It sparkles with four eyeshadows, a blush/bronzer duo, a cheek and lip tint and even a lipgloss. But wait, there’s more! There’s also a mirror and brushes, too.

7. Lorac Powder Eyeshadows ($5, originally $17)
Lorac eyeshadows apply smoothly and with rich pigmentation. Take a look at Mesmerize, a shimmery peachy gold. I like to wear it as a wash on the lid, and I think it looks great with a tan.

As we speak, orders of $50 or more on the Benefit site are eligible for an additional 20% off using the following code at checkout: HOTCORAL.

SHARE: If you know of any hot ongoing steals or deals, give it up, girl. Help your fellow makeup addicts, and give us the scoop in the comments. 🙂

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

I heart LORAC, period! That brand rocks my heart, lalala! (I’m so hyper today, this morning I drank a cup of very dark tea :))

Did I tell you I saw Tabs’s twin sister again? This time she was sunbathing and I took some pictures and gave her some bread. She even wanted me to rub her tummy 🙂 If you want, I’ll send you and Tabs a picture of the cute kitty.

Kiss Me (which used to be a Her Glossiness shade called Kiss You) is my favourite Benefit gloss EVER. Love it to bits.

      Hi SarahPuffy,

It’s an amazing color. I’ve been wearing it for almost ten years… my BFF gave me my first tube years ago and at first glance it freaked me out, but after one use I was hooked.

Oh, Tabs and I would love to see a pic of your kitty friend. I think you should name her. 🙂

Thanks for the heads up Karen! I haven’t worn Lorac in a long while and I have always wanted one of those CD palettes but couldn’t justify spending $48 for one. Now it shall be mine *cue lightening and maniacal laughter*

It’s not really a makeup steal but it’s a deal if you like both Benefit and US Weekly. Benefit is giving 20 issues of US Weekly with any $35 Benefit makeup purchase that includes any BADGal product (use the code USWEEKLY at checkout and more info about this can be found here: http://www.benefitcosmetics.com/gp/node/n/1266320011/?ext_id=E09_usweeklys_030209_15). This offer expires 3/10/09.

    Hi Amanda,

The eyeshadows totally rock! I love Jade and Joy. 🙂

I haven’t tried Persuasion, but next time I’m at Sephora I’ll swatch it for fun.

Have you used any other bits from her line?

    Hi Lisa,

Thank you for the heads up! I got a few things to replenish in my stash (just ran out of Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer) so this will come in handy. 🙂

    Hi Rovie,

Oh nice! That’s a pretty good deal. I usually read US Weekly when I’m at Barnes drinking coffee (LOL, I read that along with Cat Fancy), but I just might end up doing this!

I was good this time only bought the a set of foundation sticks (2), illuminated tinted moisturizer, lip glaze and black mascara – dark set – forgot exactly what it’s called. and a convertible eyeliner for my sister. didn’t do too bad this time around.

i wanted to comment about the convertible eyeliner/shadow stick – i find it to not go on as smooth as the MAC technakohl liner…i still like the colors i bought though..

      Hi Lexi,

Oh, nice haul! I love how that site has so many great things at really good prices. You feel like you get so much bang for your buck.

I’ve noticed the same thing with the Convertible liner, too. One thing I’ve found that helps is to warm up the pencil first between your fingers — the pencil will go on a little smoother.

I think Sephora just had some sort of sale on their cosmetics line. I am going to see if it’s still going.
