Quick shout-out to a quad I’ve been loving lately! — Chanel Les 4 Ombres Tissé Vendôme.
I wear the two browns and the beige the most, and the lighter golden taupe-brown has a sheen finish. It’s fantastic for simple, elegant washes of color on the lids.
You can buff the darker brown (which also has a sheen finish) into the corners for depth, but I usually like to keep it simple and wear it as a liner, applied with either a wet or dry angled brush.
The satiny beige comes in handy for soft, subtle highlights on the brow bone and inner corner.
That coral shade is actually pretty handy too! Pair it with coral or peach blush or lipstick. I like to blend it onto the mobile part of my lid (the area that moves when you blink) to highlight that area and bring it out a bit more (helps my eyes look less hooded).

I remember how exciting it was when Chanel introduced their tissé eyeshadow quads. There were so many beautiful choices. Tissé Vendôme and Tissé Rivoli were the first (of many—lol) that I bought. They’re both classics that have withstood the test of time. That peach shade in Tissé Vendôme—gorgeous!

I remember when those came out. Tisse Essentiel was the very first Chanel makeup product I purchased. I was working as a holiday extra at my local Lord & Taylor. The quad was part of a set. I wore that quad down to the pan. I went from that quad to Clair Obscur matte quad, which is still my favorite Chanel quad. You can’t beat classics!

Love this quad!! I’m gradually going more and more green and cruelty-free but have two or three legacy Chanel quads that I love to wear. They are really beautiful.
It looks beautiful on you. I never tried one of the Chanel quads, my go to eyeshadows are from MAC, but I have heard the quality is outstanding.
