Based on the New Rouge Artist Natural Lipsticks, Make Up For Ever Must Have Known: Nothing Says “Wake Up!” Like a Shot of Glossy Color on Your Lips

Although I’m running on fumes right now, I feel surprisingly perky for having only gotten three hours of sleep.

Those must have been three spectacular hours… Or maybe I should credit these new $19 Rouge Artist Natural Lipsticks from Make Up For Ever, which are packed with so much vibrant pigment that they’re lifting me up like shots of espresso today, BAM!

Dropping next month at Make Up For Ever Boutiques and Sephora stores in a massive array of 50 creamy, moisturizing shades, they’re also spread out across three different finishes in satin, iridescent and diamond. All 50 colors are coming to MUFE boutiques, but Sephora stores and sephora.com will only be getting 18 of the shades (I’m not sure which ones).

I’m looking forward to trying more of the colors, because based on these, I’m intrigued. I love how pigmented they are (it’s a lot, but not overkill), and there’s a softness to the shine that I really like.

What do ya think? Have you used many of MUFE’s other lip products before?

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

P.S. I’m off to grab a quick lunch, so I’ll be right back. I’m thinking a big, steaming hot bowl of pho (Vietnamese noodle soup).

How about you? What did you have for lunch today?

Hmmmm PHO! Love that stuff! It’s weird how there’s no Vietnamese restaurant in my city (plenty of them in Brussels though)!

I like how these look! It’s a major challenge to find a nude that doesn’t wash me out. Is it the same thing for you? Pink Beige certainly seems to fit the bill!

I actually haven’t tried anything from MUFE yet, but I’ve heard too much about it. I’ll soon pay the store a visit (think they’re opening a second one somewhere too)!

    I love Red (big surprise).

A friend of mine suggested I try cooking Thai food. Have you ever tried it? I haven’t really attempted to cook East Asian dishes before.

I was so impatient, I ordered some of these from the UK about a month ago. They’re fantastic. I really love MUFE’s lip products, so I’m glad they are finally over here. I’ll be buying more.

These look really pretty – and I’m not a “shiny” lips person at all. Also, your skin looks radiant, Karen! Share your secret. 😉

Oooh love that top you’re wearing, where’s it from? Pink beige is gorgeous, I hope Sephora gets it, I’ve been looking for an everyday lipstick…

    Hi Karen,

I have 2 lipsticks from this new collection ( 21 and 23 ), there’ pretty, I don’t like the MUFE lipsticks very much ( I mean the classical collection ), pigments are not so subtle ( compared to M.A.C or Nars or Chanel or Guerlain …. ) Natural lipsticks look better but I am not going to buy more than 2 !
    Have a beautiful week-end.

I used to be able to not wear anything on my lips! But I’m beginning to wear lipsticks a lot more often now… must be age… lol. Just a little lip color makes me look so much more awake!

I just got the N4 in the mail yesterday and I’m in love with it. It’s the right amount of brown and pink put together and the glossy feel is just right. It’s very moisturizing but gives a good amount of pigment. I can’t wait to get more!
