Hey, ladies. WOW, I’m having a rough day today. Sorry I haven’t posted a review yet, but I’m hoping that some quality time at the mall drooling over the two new limited edition Multi-Use Makeup Palettes ($85) from Chanel will get my creative juices flowing again. Each one comes with four eyeshadows, four lip colors and a blush in some of Chanel’s bestselling shades.

I want to see the Romantique palette’s warm shades in person, but I bet I’ll like the cooler Tendresse shades, too.
Of course, both palettes cost an arm and a leg, but that’s Chanel for ya. Sure would be nice if they held a SALE from time to time (hint hint!).

Tomorrow will be a better day!!! You’ll see. . . I have one of the Chanel palettes which is very similar to that one. I bought it in June and I think that it is called “The Neutrals”. The colors give you a very low-key elegant look. Although I don’t wear this palette everyday, it works very well for me when I can’t make up my mind how I want to go. Also the texture of the colors is very beautiful. You can’t go wrong with Chanel. With the economy being as it is, one must not be wasteful. I have to confess that I have several Chanel makeup items that are 10 years old. Chanel is a classic rather than a trendy purchase. Just as you would never think of throwing away one of those gorgeous tweedy Chanel suits that I know you look at and love (so do I, I would not dream of throwing anything away that has those two C’s back to back on it. So I say, “Go for it, girl.” You have my and Karl Lagerfeld’s blessing!!!!! Louise

Hopefully your days got better chica beautifula! I met a makeup artist once who only use Chanel (thus the Chanel version of makeup fee), oh how I pressed the urge to snag her traincase full of Chanel palettes and lipsticks and just seek asylum in countries where my craziness would be understood. Chanel products will always be on my lemming list. Here’s to wishing upon a Chanel!

I bought this palette for myself for my birthday. It was expensive but I just couldn’t stop thinking about it so I splurged! I really like it. I can put it in my purse and have a cooler or warmer look to go with whatever outfit I’m wearing. Plus the colors are easy to wear. I especially like the way the eyeshadows go on- nice and silky.
