One of the quickest, most colorful ways I know to dress up a standard-issue white tee ensemble is by incorporating twin pops o’ color like a bright lip and a colorful necklace.
When the two pops complement each other, like the hot pinks in the new MAC Giambattista Valli Lipstick in Tats and the Kristin Perry Showered in Neon Necklace, this trick is both quick and easy.
But the complementary color thing isn’t an unbreakable rule, or any kind of rule for that matter. The thing is just to have two focal points. As long as you have that down, you should be good.
I call this “The White Tee Trick” because, apparently, everything in my life needs an ONICL (Official Name Involving Capital Letters). 🙂

I have a feeling this one might sell out quickly because of the bright colors and beautiful packaging, so if you’re interested, you might want to ride that pony sooner than later.

I’m not much of a necklace girl, but I do that a lot with a colorful handbag, shoes, belt or earrings. And it works great with a black tee too – actually during my 20s my “signature” party look was a black tee with red glass earrings and MAC Dubonnet on my lips. I loved that look!

I do this all the time with just about everything in my wardrobe lol. Over the last couple of years, my style has gotten way too relaxed so I rely on cute jewelry, bags and makeup to bring it all together. I just ordered Tats this morning so I can’t wait to add a pop of color to my outfits with it. The color and packaging are just too cute! And that necklace is gorgeous!!
