Honey, Let Your Lips Do the Popping With the Pigmented Marc Jacobs Beauty Kiss Pop Lip Color Sticks

Well I’ll be a tabby’s uncle… Chrome crayons.

Why didn’t I think of that!?

Seeing these Marc Jacobs Beauty Kiss Pop Lip Color Sticks ($28 each), it’s as if my Terminator-lovin’ makeup dreams have come true.

If Skynet ever asks to use my likeness for a fashionable T-1001 model, you better believe robot Karen will have at least one of these on her person-like chassis at all times.

How awesome are these?? See the colorful tips? Each ones goes with its respective lip color.

Essentially, these Kiss Pop Color Sticks are long-wearing lipsticks with a pencil tip. New to the Marc Jacobs Beauty permanent line, they’re $28 each.

Honey in the formula works as a humectant to moisturize your pout. Nine transfer-resistant bold shades kiss yo’ lips with pedal-to-the-metal pigment. Theoretically, wearing one of these, one could spend the entire day and night kissing RyGos (never mind that pesky Eva!), and their lip color would last.

Of course I had to grab the coral.

THE CORAL!

Otherwise known as 604 Wham.

If it works out (review coming soon), I’m going back for hot pink Poparazzi.

The Kiss Pop Lip Color Sticks are popping kisses now at Marc Jacobs Beauty counters, Sephora stores and online.

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

Hey Karen! I purchased two of these in Pow (peony pink) and Heartbreaker (coral). I like these for a pigmented, long-lasting lipcolor, BUT I really think the way it’s marketed is misleading. These aren’t moisturizing at all, and can be in fact a little drying without lip balm underneath! That being said, as long as I moisturize underneath and reset my expectations, I do like these. I have a detailed review on my blog if you’re interested for more :).
