If you’re setting a course for adventure this year and plan to live out of a suitcase for any length of time over the holidays, you might want to treat yourself to an early, travel-friendly gift — Tarte’s Gorgeous Getaways Portable Palette Set ($48).

Like upwardly mobile kitty modeling moguls, it’s built to go places, but even at home, it looks gorgeous on a dresser.

Like cruise ships, it’s divided into layers.

The powder eyeshadows and blushes hang out on the top tier…

This is so pretty! I love the eyeshadow colors and the packaging. So glad it’s getting closer to Friday. It’s rainy and gloomy so I’m looking forward to going home, changing into my PJs and snuggling some kitties. 🙂

Oooooh. I wanted to get that blush palette you reviewed, but I think this might be more exciting for me. I love the idea of being able to pop out an entire set and take it with me. Very cool 🙂

Wow. This is so beautiful. I love how you can separate the different palettes. Awesome. And it’s not even a bad price.

How did I miss this one? So cute and I love the small bow palette. This would make a perfect gift for someone on my holiday shopping list!

What a cute set! I love the concept of it, but it doesn’t have enough browns in it to make me buy. Oh well.

This set looks so pretty! I love the concept. Tarte always seems to go all out for the holidays. The eyeshadows look nice but I can’t get over the gloss swatches! The lavender one is really, really pretty.

I kinda want to pick this up. Leery of two of the blush being too light for me. We shall see.

I picked this up as soon as it popped up online. The travel palette concept sold me. This is an AWESOME deal. The Sephora blush palette includes 4 blushes of the same size + 1 bronzer in Park Avenue Princess. I already have 2 Tarte Park Avenue Princess Bronzers plus I already have a mini size of the blush in dollface (also in the Sephora Off the Cuff palette). For $6 more, you get SIXTEEN eyeshadows, 3 full size lip glosses in beautiful colors, and FOUR Amazonian clay blushes, all in new colors. The shadows are great. So far, I’ve gotten random makeup compliments each time I’ve used this set.

Wonderful review. I was wondering if you could do a review on Sephora’s Tarte collection- The Tarte of Giving Collector’s Set & Travel Bag. Which would you recommend? Many thanks 🙂
