Tarte Is Wild About Jungles and Palettes With the New Tarte Fall 2012 Collection

tarte fall 2012

Rrrrow! Tarte hopes we’ll heed the call of the wild, jungle cats and kittens, and prance over to Sephora and Ulta stores to peruse the new fall 2012 collection (available now in stores and online).

Here’s a quick look at the eye palettes and some of the other pieces from the collection…

Speaking of wild jungle cats, your nephew was very, very cranky this afternoon. 🙂 When the weather’s nice, like it was today, all he wants to do is party outside (don’t we all?).

“This is BULLS___T!”

We are sooo close to Friday; I can almost taste it!

I hope you had a nice day today. Mine went really well. I had a lot of fun doing that smokey eye tutorial earlier, and then tonight I watched quite a bit of secret shame TV, namely Hollywood Exes on VH1, and Million Dollar Listing on Bravo.

Now it’s time for bed. Talk to you soon.

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

These all look so cute! *flails* I love that they (finally!) included their blushers in one of their clutch-style kits — I’ll have to check it out once it lands in-store in Canada 😉

These look amazing! I have Tarte shadows and I love them, and I also like the clay blushes. I love the one that has both blushes and shadows in one. I might have to get them through a friend since we don’t get Tarte here for now 🙁

Thanks for the swatches! Really lemming the on that Call of the Wild palette…the colors look great.. Don’t know about the Loving cheekstain though, tad too glittery for me.

I’m a sucker for palettes, so even though I think I own many similar colors, I’m still interested in the two!

Too bad Tabs is being grouchy! I love male cats precise because they can look so condescending though LOL

My friend…I know you’re not always an eyeshadow kinda girl, but one of these days I will get you in a full on drag queen eye. Mark my words.

HAHA! I’d probably stroke out on you. 🙂 I’m just kidding – I’m sure that if I ever had it done by someone who knew what they were doing (not me), it could look awesome. Hey, I read Jeremy Renner used to be a makeup artist. I’d be up for letting him turn my eyes into little drag queens. hee hee!

Awww dear Nephew Tabs – stop being cranky! Youre just like your Cousin LOL. He’s our ornery cat!

YES! I had a feeling you’d like this collection. Check out the blush at Sephora. It’s very pretty!

I think Tabs and LOL belong to a secret cat society of grumpy felines.

I’m not ready to think about fall yet, but the 8-Shadow palette is so pretty! I’m really digging the colors.

That pic of Tabs reminds me so much of Mingus! He’ll lay on the floor and pout if he doesn’t get to go outside enough.

There was an episode of My Cat From Hell where the owners had door handles (as opposed to knobs) and the kitty was able to reach up and open the doors. Luckily Mingus hasn’t tried anything like that. He just paws at the door thinking he can somehow break through. 🙂

Aww, Mingy! I have a secret crush on him. 🙂

Okay, random, but does Mingus watch Animal Planet shows with you? Tabs really loves Dogs 101. He will stare at the scree and not move for the entire program.

Aww, thanks. I’ll let him know he has a secret admirer. 🙂 That is hilarious that Tabs enjoys watching doggies!

Mingy’s not too interested in TV, but once he was fascinated by a screen saver that had some flying birds on it. I’ve read that they make DVDs especially to entertain cats, but I haven’t looked into them. I’d be scared one of the cats would launch themselves at the TV!

Are the blushes in the Eye & Cheek palette part of the permanent collection, or are they exclusive to this palette?

I think the blushes are “Free” and “Exposed”. I believe exposed is part of their permanent collection and free is new color especially made for this palette. But that doesn’t mean they won’t add it to their permanent collection later!

Is it just me or does Exposed in this clutch look pinker than Exposed in the permanent line (both in the pan and in the swatch)?
