Ulta Adventures: The Pop of Passion Lip Oil-Balms by bareMinerals

Popped into Ulta and spied these new Pop of Passion Lip Oil-Balms by bareMinerals.

Don’t they look juicy?

They’re $16 each, 8 shades… Looks like they have passion fruit oil and vitamin E, so they should be pretty moisturizing. They look kind of like those moisturizing balm/lip stain hybrids. I’m intrigued…although wasn’t quite intrigued enough to bring one of them home (this time).

Now, if they came with an actual “pop” of some kind, like a Popsicle, a Ring Pop, a big jug of popcorn or a Pop Tart?! — that would be some next-level ish right there.

Just throwing that out there for the bareMinerals marketing team. 🙂 I’m just sayin’. You guys, get on that.

I’m on board with selling these with a Popsicle, lol! I’m all about tinted lipbalms and Plumberry Pop is really catching my eye.

oh! I picked plumberry pop from sephora ( impulse during the VIB sale ) and it’s quite nice. It’s goes on smooth and has decent staying power. Give it a try the next time you’re at Ulta or Sephora.

I picked one up recently and it was sooooo drying! I actually returned it. Really disappointing, because I love the Marvelous Moxie lipsticks and glosses, and the color was beautiful.

A Popsicle or pop ring would be my jam, especially since a few days here felt like summer. And how in the world do you get such nice pics IN STORE?!! I mean, I know your pics are always nice bc you’ve got a great camera & a fantastic eye. But I’m assuming you’re not lugging your camera around with you when taking pictures at various makeup counters/stores? If it’s your camera phone, that’s one heck of a camera. My iPhone 5c is nearing its 2 year replacement. I’m excited to get a new phone simply bc I want a better camera. Lol

I have the nude one and I like it, but it does really cling to dry patches (weirdly, because you’d think an oil balm would be more moisturizing). I agree, the marvelous moxie lipsticks are more moisturizing. not sure I’d repurchase, but it was fun to try!
