Yes, that’s the new Becca Iconic Beauty Collection ($115; available now at beccacosmetics.com) on a paper Christmas plate, LOL!

The five-piece collection includes…

  • Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal
  • Eye Tint in Gilt
  • Ultimate Mascara in Black
  • Mineral Blush in Flowerchild
  • Limited Edition Anniversary Quad in Dusty Rose (includes Lip Gloss in Cassini, Crème Blush in Turkish Rose, Lip and Cheek Crème in Tuberose and Highlighting Crème in Narcissus) with BECCA Compact Pouch

Hello from Redding (made it here in one piece!). Looks like we’re going to chill out here tonight with my in-laws, so I think some playing with some Becca will be in order. I may paint my nails too. What are you up to?

I’ll be lounging in my PJs sipping some hot cocoa which in my opinion is the best part of being home for the holidays. I can’t wait to see the look you create with this collection. I’ve had my eye on it for a while, but haven’t been able to swallow dropping $115 for this.

      Hi Chris El,

That sounds like fun to me. Do you like marshmallows in your hot cocoa?

About this set: it’s a little pricey, but you do save some money. Buying the items separately costs $157, so you save over 25%.

Just hanging out at home after a super low-key Christmas with my mom. I’ll be reading magazines and perusing blogs, per usual!

      Hi Mel,

Low key is always fun. Did you guys eat anything special?

      Hi Opal,

Opal could work across a wide range of skin tones. It use it and Moonstone on bare skin when I want to perk up my skin a bit. You can layer beneath foundation too. They both add a little extra glow.

I’m in love with Flowerchild blush ever since you had it on in one of your pictures. I can’t wait to try it myself. 🎄

      Hi Melissa,

It is a GREAT blush! Another one to consider is Damselfly; it’s pretty too.

Can you buy the pieces separately?

      Hi Agata,

Yup, you can. You save a little bit by buying them all together. Is there a particular piece you’re interested in?

          Hi Agata,

It’s really pretty. It’s a re-promote from last spring from their anniversary collection. I did swatches and a review here:

Eagerly waiting your thoughts on this set. I have been wanting to try becca for awhile and this might be a good place to start.

      Hi Katie,

It would definitely give you a good overview of the color products in the line. 🙂 What items are you interested in checking out? The blushes and eye palettes are a great place to start…

      Hi Sarah,

The mascara itself if black, the tube is brown. 🙂

This is a nicely edited collection, but none of these items are new, right? I mean, I know that all of the items except the LE quad are part of the permanent collection, but I feel like I’ve even seen that quad before. Am I mistaken??

Most are part the permanent collection; the quad was LE. I don’t think that’s a bad thing though. All the pieces are full-size and the kit saves you some money.

A nice way to try out the Becca line, but it is pricey – especially after Christmas. Oh, well … I do want to try out a few Becca cosmetics so will look at their site and select a few affordable options.

I have only tried Becca’s lip gloss and it was super thick and smelled awful… any positive things about other products?

      Hi Jennifer,

Did you try the old lipgloss formula or the new one? They recently reformulated them and they’re much, much better.

I really like the line. My faves are their blushes, palettes and cheek/lip tints. I also recently started using their new Radiant foundation and it’s GREAT!
