Behold! A Wall of Water-Full Color

When you see an entire wall of bright, colorful bkr water bottles, you have to stop and take a picture.

It’s just the right thing to do. 🙂

I walked past these in the beauty department of the Neiman Marcus in San Francisco last week.

Have you heard of these? They’re basically fancy glass water bottles with colorful, grippy silicone sleeve covers (I have one and use it all day, errrday), and they feel hefty and durable.

They’re glass, but they don’t feel fragile because the glass is thick and heavy, as are the bouncy sleeves, which protect them well. They are expensive for a water bottle…but everything about them feels well made, like it’ll last forever (hopefully).

And there are so many colors! The wide selection appeals to my inner color lover. So many blues, pinks, greens, reds and grays… Makes me think of eyeshadow.

One of these days, I’m gonna break down and get one of the smaller ones with the hearts, like this 500 mL cutie called Rose Heart. It’s $35 and available now at Neiman Marcus stores and online.

Karen

Seeing your original post inspired me to get the same one in Sugar! I got my sister interested in one, too, lol. I also want to add some other colors (and sizes?) to my collection – they are so fun! So sturdy and I like how my water always tastes fresh.

I need a new water bottle. I accidentally melted mine by putting it in the dishwasher at the highest temperature, whups.

For a quick second there I thought you were talking about watercolors and I got excited because I thought you were taking up painting and then we could talk about art supplies.

But the water bottles are nice too. 🙂

I have one of these in the dark purple with stars on it. I love it! I actually take it to the gym with me and have dropped it plenty. It has held up really well. One word of advice, occasionally take the silicone off so that you can properly clean everything. I’ve heard some people complain about not being to keep it clean, but if you take off the silicone cover (slips off pretty easily–just roll it off!), you can give it a good scrubbing. 🙂

I love the burgundy colored one! My water bottle confession is that I refill the same 4 plastic bottles for like a month and then change to new ones. I should consider another option, for sure. 🙂

How do you clean these? My only issue with my bottle is the opening is so small! I know it doesn’t have to be scrubbed because it’s only filled with water, but…

Can these be put in the dishwasher? Cuz I’m lazy and hate hand washing dishes, unless I have to. So I try avoid buying things that cannot be tossed in the dishwasher.
I wonder how durable they are for people like me. I have Siggs with major dents in them. I just hate that the opening on a Sigg bottle is so small you can’t get an ice cube into it during the summer months. I’ve cracked plenty of the reusable plastic water bottles, too.

The bkr website now has 250 mL ones! I’m so tempted cause I love mini things, but it’s basically useless as a water bottle since you’d have to refill it every 30 minutes!

Don’t you think they should start selling the sleeves separately? I have both the small and large one, but I’m so addicted to all these colors!!
