I don’t know… I just have this unexplainable feeling that you’re going to like Illamasqua Lipstick in ESP ($24), and I’ve always been very intuitive when it comes to makeup (ha!).
Maybe it’s a sixth sense, or maybe it’s simply because of how stunning ESP looks on different skin tones from light to dark.
But this dramatic, vivid matte violet is not a color for wallflowers. Part of Illamasqua’s Paranormal summer collection, it’s one of those lipsticks your eyes lock on when you walk into a room.

It looks fabulous on you. For those that are lipstick-shy, like me (took me a while to get used to wearing a red lip and I don’t do it every day for fear of having to do multiple touch ups), we could probably wear it as a tint by applying it lightly. I think it’s a beautiful color, and like red, can be worn many different ways.
This is fantastic. But, I don’t know that I could pull it off.
Gorgeous colour but mine was so dry and impossible to apply evenly… I returned mine in the end. Such a shame because I absolutely loved the colour; I have lots of purple lipsticks but none quite like this one.
Oh that’s ..hmmm…different 😀 It reminds me of one of their earlier lipsticks – Kontrol – that was bluer I guess.

You totally own that color on your lips! Unfortunately, at 57 I’m afraid that I would just look like the crazy lady at wandering through Publix.
I love a good purple lipstick, but this one looks very opaque and thick. I like to be able to sheer down my purples a bit. I like MAC Violetta (very creamy), YSL Violet Incognito (shiny-sheer) and Revlon Violet Frenzy (cheap but creamy and nice).
Vampy purple! I love this look bold but not overwhelming.
