These Ladybugs Are Studs! The Kristin Perry Ladybug Stud Earrings

Kristin Perry Ladybug Studs

Kristin Perry Ladybug Studs

Ladybugs are good luck! I’ve believed that ever since I was a kid.

And if one lands on you, it’s extra good luck (time to buy a lottery ticket).

Even though these 18k gold-plated Kristin Perry Ladybug Studs didn’t lightly land on my arm, I still hope they bring me good luck. 🙂

From afar, they look like standard stud earrings, but up close you see the ladybug detailing.

That’s the kind of thing I love about Kristin’s jewelry. Her whimsy. Everything’s so fun and unique!

This pair is $34 and available now online.

====> Deal alert! That’s a great deal. Kristin is my favorite jeweler right now. I have a number of her pieces, and they’re cute and just the right amount of classy, to where they still look fun and wearable. Plus they’re durable and kind of different, and they don’t cost an arm and a leg.

Super cute. You should spend some time here in the fall. We once had (no exaggeration) over 100 ladybugs in our bedroom because they’d come through the air conditioner. It was a cool night so we’d shut it off and at about 11 PM we started to notice a lot of “activity”. We probably should have rolled in them for luck!

Egad! That’s maybe a little too much of a good thing. 🙂

I’d love to spend time there in the fall. We don’t really get much of a fall here. Lots of trees lose their leaves, but there isn’t a lot of color.

Ladybugs reminds me, a couple years ago our little deck garden/kitty salad bar got infested with white flies and aphids, so we were trying to figure out how to get rid of them without using real-deal pesticides. Apparently, ladybugs are one of the best ways to get rid of lots of garden insect pests because they eat them. You can actually buy packages of like 100,000 ladybugs for $17 on amazon. Then you spread them around the garden at night. They mostly all fly away by morning, but overnight it’s like a bug buffet! Weird!

We almost tried it, but it was close to the end of the season when we found out, and this year the bug problem wasn’t as bad.

Happy hump day, btw. Have a good day.

the earrings are cute but I want your lips! LOL Makeup is just gorgeous in this shot.

Speaking of gardens… funny thing just happened to us. My husband offered a guy he was working with some peppers from our garden. He told him to pick some. The guy CLEANED US OUT! He took every last freakin pepper except the hots – WTF? Luckily our other neighbor was around and called him on it. I mean it’s the end of the season, it’s not like we’re getting more. We at least got 5 back so I’ll try to make some stuffed peppers with them before they go bad. (if ya leave em on the plant they stay fresher ya know?)
Some people just don’t think. We have NEVER had someone pick all our veggies like that. My DH said he won’t be offering them to him again…EVER. lol
sorry for off topic and the bit of a rant but it really was a new experience for us.

Denise S – I think if I make the stuffed peppers and freeze them after (for quick meal) they will be fine. You can freeze fresh peppers but they are really only good to cook with at that point. After freezing, the fresh pepper will lose its texture.
And, even though it was “bizarro”, this guy is one to be around and chip in when my husband needs a hand. It’s just funny sometimes how people don’t think.☺
