L’Oreal Colour Riche Le Matte and La Lacque Lip Pens

Starting from the top, that’s L’Oreal Le Matte Lip Pencil in 100 Matte For Me, 102 She’s So Matte, 104 Game Set & Matte, 106 Mad for Matte and 198 Matter-R of Fact; and La Lacque in 201 Lacque-y Charm, 203 Lacquerizied, 205 Lacque and Roll, 207 Lacque-y You and 209 Choco-Lacque

Oh! Nice to see you again, L’Oreal Colour Riche Le Matte. And you, too, La Lacque. You two Lip Pens are only $9.99 each, and I remember you from last fall. You were released as limited edition lippies, weren’t you? And now you’re back.

From the outside, these twist-up full-coverage lipsticks (no sharpener needed) look pretty much the same as they did last year, and they still don’t twist all the way down, so sometimes the caps scrunch the tips (Grr… Why?!). Other than that minor hiccup, I think they’re great. They have the same smooth, pigmented formula, excellent coverage and respectable five-hour wear time.

Pretty good deals for $10.

If at all possible, though, try to sniff one in the car before you bring it all the way home, because the rosy scent is VERY strong. Thankfully, it fades after about 10 minutes, but still.

If you end up liking the scent, I think you’ll like most everything else about these (except for maybe the cap). I do. They’re also available online for the same $9.99 each.

Karen

The shades look gorgeous! I dislike lippies that come out of the tube too! Specially when I am in a hurry. These would be sooo easy to apply on le lips lol! 😛

I’ve only tried a couple of these so far but I really like them! Both formulas perform pretty well though I think I may like the Le Lacque pens a little better. Gonna have to pull these babies back out soon!

These swatches look GORGEOUS but there’s no way I could stand that rose scent-why, why must they add fake floral scents to lip products?!

I haven’t tried them yet (so many lip crayons in my stash already) but they’re on my list!

How Revlon-y of them, lol 🙂 She’s So Matte looks good. And from the glossy ones I like Lacque-y Charm (love that name, gah!)

I hate the smell, but Choco-Lacque is totally worth enduring it for a few minutes.

Great colors! It always irks me when lip products don’t swivel all the way down. I ALWAYS bonk the tips into the caps. Grrrr!

For a drugstore lippie that lasts more than an hour, I’ll put up with the temporary scent! And those are some really pretty colors. I’ve been really impressed with Maybelline’s Color Blur pencils, the one I got lasts through meals with minimal fading, and they feel really great on the lips.

198 Matter-R of Fact seems right up my alley. I’m looking for a matte fuschia & the price tag is budget-friendly. Haven’t seen these. Thanks for posting 🙂
