Urban Decay Turns Up the Voltage on Brights With the Urban Decay Electric Pressed Pigment Palette

The new Urban Decay Electric Pressed Pigment Palette ($49)

I’m back from the dentist! — and, yes, I cried (it’s a long story).

Buuut, it turns out that crying through my makeup gave me a good reason to soothe myself with the new Electric palette of pressed pigments from Urban Decay.

Woo-hoo!

I’m still in the “staring at it” stages… I haven’t tried it on yet, but I have lots of ideas for those blues and that green.

I’m not sure what I’ll do with Thrash, though, that funky chartreuse. Hmm…

I’ve seen this palette on so many beauty blogs today, but your review is the one that I am looking forward to the most! I always love the looks you put together. 🙂

I’m sorry your experience at the dentist wasn’t pleasant! I hate going to the dentist, and I’ve cried there a few times myself. It’s just never a fun experience.

      Hello Deanna!

I’m putting together an eye look right now. There’s nothing like a little bit of color to cheer ya up, you know?

How was your Wednesday? Good, I hope. 🙂

Oh! I am so excited to see what you come up with!

I’ve been busy doing math problems for the majority of the day, so when I came home, I had to get my beauty blog fix LOL! Only makeup can cheer me up after graphing about a zillion rational functions!

I ended up doing a blue and green eye. Taking some pics right now so I’ll have them up soon. 🙂 I feel a lot better now…

So, that’s super cool that you’ve been doing math problems all day! Forgive me if I’ve asked this already, but are you a math major?

I’ve been seeing this palette on blogs and .. mmm, it’s a bit bright for me.

Ah, the dentist .. I had a crown and filling done a few months ago and while the procedure was relatively painless .. the recovery was another story .. 2 weeks of a very sore jaw, and just regular chewing compromised. All better now though – except I have three more to do .. now that’s something to cry over .. wwaaaaaaahhhh!

    Monica.

Jilted and Urban look like they would pair sooo well with Urban Decay’s eye shadow in Scratch (mine is still in that grafitti-decorated packaging back when it was “Deluxe Eye Shadow”)

This is so pretty! I’ve been looking forward to your review too! Not that I can wear neon eyeshadow to work everyday but this is so on my list to buy 😀

Hi Karen! I’m really bad with adding color to my eyes. I’d love to see a look you do with this palette.

PS. I also cried today. I went to the dr. and it turns out I’m low on iron. Boo.

      Hi Annette,

I feel ya! There are definitely some colorful shades that I really need a lot of practice with…reds and oranges, especially.

I ended up doing a blue and green look. Will have it up in a jiffy!

Sorry to hear your cried today. Tomorrow is a new day, right? Are you healthy, otherwise? Well, besides the low iron?

Yeah, I’m pretty healthy other than anemia. I’m also a bit of a drama queen. 😉

It looks pretty but I think the colors are too bold for me and I wouldn’t know how to use those colors.

Hmm….the more I look at this the more it reminds me of the sugar pill cosmetics range in colors. Wonder if they are dupes… Who am I kidding if they are bright, they are coming home.

Can I ask what it means with that warning on the back that those certain shades are not safe for the immediate eye area??? Like, it’s an eye shadow palette… what do you use those ones for? SO confused about this palette!

Even though I’m not a huge fan of brights I’m really think a few of these might make fabulous liners!

I’m loving these brights right now. I have Revolt from the Anarchy Face Case and love it. Freak and Urban are really singing to me. Slowburn and Savage I would be tempted to try as blushes or as a light dusting to set a lipstick… hmmm…

Want this so badly! 😀 The good news is, Urban Decay actually ships overseas (through parcel forwarding) so I have a chance of actually getting it! 😀
