My Cheeks Just Had a Revelation! Chanel Revelation Le Blush Creme de Chanel

Wearing Chanel’s Le Blush Creme de Chanel in Revelation on my cheeks

I had an a-ha! moment the first time I swept Chanel’s Le Blush Creme de Chanel in Revelation ($38) on my cheeks.

A revelation, if you will. 🙂

It was almost as great as the first time I had blueberries in a salad. Gurrrl, blueberries in a salad. You gotta try it.

Revelation is a soft, shimmery pink that creates a natural-looking cheek flush.

I built it up in layers here so it would show up in these pics, but for everyday looks, I’d probably wear it sheer.

Either way, I think it’s tops. It lasts all day long (as long as I keep my hands away from my face) and looks fab on top of bare skin, foundation and/or powder.

Chanel really did a great job on these cream blushes. I’m impressed!

Revelation is part of the Chanel permanent line, and you can find it now on counters and online.

That’s a gorgeous color. Maybe I’ll save up for this. Finally, in my mid20s, I’ve figured out that blush is an amazing thing. Just takes the right shade and a little practice.

Also I’ve only been following your blog for about a month, but I want to say you are seriously great. Not only for the tips and tricks, but your commentary and overall outlook on life is infectious. I always end up smiling. Plus big props for not photoshopping your photos to hell and back (not like you need it!). So many blogs and makeup resources do and it gives totally unrealistic expectations to women. Keep up the good work 🙂

      Hi Amy,

It took me a while to discover the wonders of blush. I think I was in my mid-20s, too. 🙂 I still have that first pan (MAC Blushbaby).

Thanks for your sweet words! You have a good day, OK?

I’m wearing this right now! I was skeptical of the formula at first, but it is extremely easy to blend and just melts into my skin. I can def see this as an everyday staple.
