I Found You, Ms. New Bootie…

If La Maison de Chanel ever starts a biker gang, a la Sons of Anarchy, I feel like these quilted booties by Matisse would be a non-negotiable part of the uniform.

They’re my latest loves from DSW.

Originally $209, but I got ’em on sale last week for $69.

On the DSW website, they’re listed at $99.94, so just FYI. You may want to check your local store.

Oh! And the website also states that the upper part of the shoe is made from synthetic leather, but I’m not so sure about that. The box for my pair says the leather’s real.

I dunno…

They’re super comfy, and I love the quilted pattern. I think it adds a little sweetness to an otherwise @ss-kickin’ shoe.

The heel is also low enough that I could probably run away from zombies in these if I had to (which is always important), and the shaft is well insulated for warmth. 🙂

Very cute! Femme Sassy meets serious biker boot.

I bought a similar pair last fall from Steve Madden except no quilting. I call them my “Johnny Cash” boots.

I love boots and I love boots this height (very fun-looking). Since I have short, muscular calves, it’s always been hard to zip up those knee-high boots, even when the shaft is not too high.

Actually, Chanel made quite similar boots couple seasons back.

Great biker gang logo featuring Tabs.
Do you ride a motorbike? I used to, but stopped when I got pregnant and haven’t started again.

Love the title of this post! Not only are we cyber makeup friends, but the hip hop/ pop culture references in your writing always makes me feel like we could totally go dancing in da club & JAM! I love music, I love makeup, & I love to dance.

Oh, and I’ve totally spotted the Miss New Bootie(s) I’m getting from DSW. And if they’re marked down anymore (like these ones in your post) I’m definitely gonna go dancing in ’em (even if they hurt to dance in….lol)

I’ve been looking for some gold-i-locks booties this year but not a lot of luck. I need them to look tough, sweet, with a lower but definite heel with a low stance on the ankle. I’m short and I have a ligament problem on my ankle so it can swell like a bastard. I need something that I can actually get off, so anything that fully covers my ankle will be stuck 🙁 I tend to either dress sleek and sexy or boho when I’m not rocking yoga pants. Getting something to work with everything might just be a dream.

Chanel had a “Biker Chic” Collection a few years back–these have that vibe!

I just bought these boots today! I have been on the hunt for a pair of black moto/biker style boots for a couple of months now and when I saw these in the clearance section of dsw I couldn’t pass them up. I’m so glad my search is finally over because not only are these boots amazing but the hunt has resulted in 5 other pairs of boots this fall! Also, every time I look at these boots I think of Daryl Dixon which is fine by me!

I was just talking to an older lady today at the doctor’s office about buying books after she admired my rubber soled, Rampage cowboy boots. These are so cute! I think I may have to go for it.
