I have a cat named Bandit, he was supposed to be the runt of his litter. Bandit is now nicknamed “Fat Albert” cuz he just keeps growing, he’s about a year and a half now, easily 18+ pounds and willing to do anything for food. He’s eaten through the treat packaging, hefty plastic containers, smashed glass containers and now managing to paw open cabinet doors to get at his treats…in fact, he hopped on our “touch” stove top and turned on an element which melted the butter in our cabinet and melted the can opener cord…luckily someone came home fairly early to turn off the element! He’s also climbed a shelf to get at his bag of catfood despite having difficulties climbing a mere windowsill LOL No matter what, he’s a part of our family tho!
Holy cow that is one determined cat! I think Tabs would try to do those things if he was smarter… he’s not join the cat version of Mensa anytime soon, if you know what I mean.
I didn’t really get the full effect until this shot, but my cat Sparky is a dead-ringer for Tabs: both hushy, grey-brown tabbies and are, as my bf describes, “charmers.” Tabs is such a sweetheart though. Tabbies are the best!

I have a cat that is pretty fat.. BUT I have a chihuahua that was supposed to be only 3 punds and she weighs SEVEN! haha she will just eat ALL day long!
Wow, he’s a big cat! He is kinda pudgy, but I mean big size wise. Apparently, your average cat weighs about 10 pounds. Since our cats weigh 15 and 20 pounds, I always assumed that 15ish pounds was the norm. Lol I guess I was wrong!
He does look a bit scary, but ours always look that way when someone has woken them up.

Tabs, you are so frickin’ cute you make me go “SQUEE!!!” My tabby is slim but our other cat is ginormous. She and Tabs together would look like sumo wrestlers, lol. She is crazy about ham and anytime she hears the sandwich meat baggie open (and I’m talkin’ she’ll be upstairs, sleeping!) down in the kitchen, she hauls her booty downstairs and stalks me (or my sandwich) until she gets some. My husband calls her the “thundering bunny-wumpass ham ‘ho”.
i love how kitties always find the sunlight…whether it’s full on window sun, like what my kitty is currently baking herself in, or that sliver that tabs has found…
