More Cheap Thrills!

July 28th, 2011 by Karen 11 Comments

I mini-hauled a $3 Elf Glossy Gloss in Dragon Fruit and a $3 Contouring and Bronzing Powder Duo in Blushed and Bronzed (it kinda looks like the NARS Orgasm/Laguna duo, yeah?) at Target this afternoon.

Gotta love cheap makeup thrills! 🙂

definitely agree about getting cheap thrills! 😀 will you make a review of these? the gloss looks so pretty~ i want a lipstick in the same shade, but a matte one. I got the 100 eyeshadow palette from ELF at Targer, and so far im loving it. theyre not as smooth as high end ones, but most are pigmented (especially with primer) even though theyre chalky and theres fall outs. 🙂 to me theyre a great way to try some make up looks with and its only 10 bucks!

i’m heading to seattle for the long weekend and i plan to go to target specifically to get the duo. a friend of mine really recommends it! of course, i’ll be checking out other awesome beauty products as well.

does anyone have any recommendations for makeup/beauty products that are sold in Target?

I tried a Glossy Gloss in a different shade (Funky Fuchsia I believe it’s called) and I love it! The color is so smooth and it’s not sticky. Hope you like it too!

I have been hauling some cheap makeup thrills lately too. It’s some Maybelline Dream Mousse eye color. I think they are from some previous editions? Love them too.

And back to your elf haul, price may be cheap but they don’t look cheap at all. 😉 if you get what I mean…..

I’ve had horrible luck with ELF glosses (gross taste, bad colors, etc.). This was a couple years ago, different packaging. Hope that one works out for you!

I’m diggin their glossy gloss; I’ve got 3 of them. I didn’t care for the duo, but I know it works for many people, and at that price, it’s tough to not give it a shot!

I hope you review these. I’ve been curious about E.L.F. for years and totally trust your opinion.

The gloss packaging looks exactly like the NARS gloss as well. I also noticed that Studio Gear had an eerily similar style to their tubes last week as well. I regret not having picked one up to try it. I am excited about trying more of the E.L.F. products. I recently bought one of their $1 eye brushes and the thing is great!
