What I ate for lunch yesterday. The spa cafe at the Terranea Resort is known for their Bento Boxes, so that’s what I went for. You pick four items from the menu and they put ’em all together in a sweet spread.

The food looks really delicious! Maybe because I haven’t had my lunch yet and I am really hungry 🙂 I wish I could sit by the pool and get some sun tan, I am so pale!
It was good. There were cookies afterward, but I wanted to get them in my belly ASAP and forgot to take pics. Whoops. 🙂
So how was the lake trip? Did you guys go swimming?
The trip was awesome, very quiet and relaxing. We didn’t go to swim or on the lake because it was only 60 degrees but we had a bonfire every night, I could lay down in a hammock reading a book and sipping a frozen margarita 🙂 Everyone had a great time!
Ohh and also everyone was laughing at me for bringing a bag of make up, a whole bag for just hair and my own portable mirror (which came totally useful, because I could do my hair and make up in my bedroom instead of occupying a bathroom other people wanted to use for 2 hours).
That sounds like so much fun! I love low-key trips like that where there isn’t a lot of pressure to do things. Sometimes all you really need is to just sit around and not really do much, you know? I’d love a trip like that soon. Even though you didn’t get in the water, I bet it was still nice to be near it. I love the sound of the lapping of gentle waves on the shore!
And LOL, you sound just like me when I go “camping.” I’m not about to be in the middle of the woods without any concealer. THERE IS NO WAY.

You’re welcome, LOL! I wish I had some of that food right now. I just had breakfast for lunch (eggs, faux sausage, fruit salad and coffee).

Yum that sounds good too! I love breakfast food and would happily eat it every meal. We met friends at their pool this am and splashed around for a few hours. Now we are just relaxing! Need to run errands in a few!
