The Urban Decay Rollergirl Summer 2011 Palette and the Case of the Missing Roller Skates

March 31st, 2011 by Karen 17 Comments

Urban Decay Summer 2011

Of course, the ONE TIME I’m actually in the mood to roller skate I can’t find my skates (story of my life). They’ve gotta be around here somewhere!

Until they turn up, Urban Decay’s new Rollergirl Summer 2011 Palette will have to do. 🙂

Oh yeah, remind me someday to tell you the story about the steep hill, the roller skates, the slow moving/hard of hearing elderly lady and the flock of ducks.

P.S. Do you know how to roller skate?

I’ve been so good about not buying Urban Decay’s smaller palettes, but that Woodstock color looks so pretty, I just might have to pick this up.

I can rollerblade.. does that count?

Hey Karen! Thanks for the sneak peak! I LOVE woodstock, I think I might have to have this palette. Do you know when it will be released?

I’d love to see how you would wear this. Bright colored eyeshadows tend to confuse me.

Eh, I don’t know about that hot pink….
I haven’t touched my roller blades since the Great Roller Blade Accident of 2000. Like you, a steep hill, a huge curb leading into a parking lot, a telephone pole and a broken rib. Luckily it was on a weekend….across from a outdoor pub…..with my drug of choice…..wine!

At first I wasn’t sure about hot pink eyeshadow, but I’ve found it can work if I apply it lightly in the crease.

Anywho, I feel your pain about the skates!!! Were you wearing wrist protectors and pads?

What?! Tell us this story very soon please! And erm…I rollerskated for all of about 5 minutes before deciding it wasn’t going to work out for me. I spent more time falling on my butt than upright and it was painful. Love the palette!

I actually like this palette and I never like these gimmicky UD sets…I rollerskate almost as well as I walk, which is the interesting thing, so I may have to get this one.

Does anyone know how Verve/Suspect compares to urban decay Sin?
