My mom got these from a neighbor. Apparently there was a bumper crop of persimmons this year! Yay for me, LOL!

Wow….I never tasted this fruit. Usually I don’t eat fruits, I have only 2 favorites: pomegranate and strawberries but now in autumn I eat bananas, apples and pears only cause I have too but not because I want too. I’m such a child sometimes 🙂

Ooops I thought they were tomatoes at first glance. Of course, tomatoes don´t have branches, so that was silly of me! My favourite fall fruit…I don’t know, I like lots of fruits! Now it’s spring, and I love cruncy, cool grapes. And plums. And fruit salad. Oh, and melons! Yum!

I have never had any persimmons before. I guess I am not really a fall fruit girl because I love my berries and tropical fruits.

I actually like persimmons, too… but in the fall, I tend to go more for stone fruit, especially plums, apricots, and cherries. Pomegranates are also gorgeous in the fall, too.

Mmmm, I just had some of those after dinner yesterday. Otherwise, my favorite fall fruit is mandarin oranges. They remind me of Christmas.

I’ve never had fresh persimmons before, only in recipes. But favorite fall fruit is pomegranate, it used to be that you could ONLY get them in the fall, but now that they even make gum with pomegranate flavoring they’ve lost a bit of their seasonal luster…

A friend of mine was buying that in whole food and the cashier mistaken that for tomatoes( 1/3 the price) … Anyway, I actually like tomatoes a lot and I eat them as fruit.
