I went to the Windward Farmers Market last night and saw lots of cool fruit and food. NOM!

Mad props if you can name the fruit above!

    Lychee?

Dragonfruit are massive, pink, spiky and have weird flesh on the inside. xD

    Really pretty pictures though 🙂

    Rambutans/rambotans (whatever the spelling is)!
I used to see these at the grocer’s when I was a kid–they are fascinating to look at!

Yes, that’s right! They are rambutans! And they are some of the tastiest fruits I have ever eaten, and we have plenty here during the season. 😀

Definitely rambutan! I live in the PI now, and we’re practically done with rambutan season now that the weather’s getting cooler. And I’m even more stoked to see rambutan with that gorgeous red color and flaming spikes on Hawaiian soil!

Ooh you are in my favorite mall ever – I was there on opening day in the early 80s and have been there hundreds of times. And I didn’t know they had a Farmer’s Market there!

Yum, Rambutan! I had those back in Manila. They’re really cheap over there and much juicier than lychee.
