When Three Is Not a Crowd: The $10 Eylure Naturalites Superfull Triple Pack No. 100 False Lashes

I call the Eylure Naturalites Superfull Triple Pack No. 100 lashes my B.D.Q. falsies (“Baby Drag Queen”).

These lightweight, wispy wonders are long and lush enough to elicit Z-snaps in the air, but they aren’t so cray that I feel like I have to peel them off before heading out to run errands…like going to Sports Authority to buy Bodyglide, which, incidentally, is good to have if you’re going to be running more than eight miles.

Yup, lesson learned…

I recently snagged this three pack of Eylure 100s at Ulta during a buy one, get one half off sale. It looked good because 1) the price, 2) the 100s are reusable and 3) the kit comes with small tubes of glue.

The lashes, which are brown and black for a natural-ish lash look, are in little bundles along the lash band, and within each bundle are short, medium and long lash hairs.

To create an illusion of lift, the lashes on the outer ends are also longer than the lashes near the middle.

Other reasons I like these? The lash bands have a lovely curl to ’em that makes them easy apply, and they’re surprisingly comfortable. The lashes are long, but not annoyingly so.

I suggest trying them on first, impromptu-like, before affixing them with glue to your lash line, as the lash bands seem to be wider than usual (you may want to trim them), and, unfortunately, the glue that comes with the kit is almost useless. Even after I used a ton of it, the lashes came off within an hour, so maybe have a tube of Duo Eyelash Adhesive handy…

Aside from the glue, though, I really like these. Great value, comfy and easy to apply? I’ll be stocking up next time they go on sale.

PRICE: $9.99 for three pairs
AVAILABILITY: Available now at drugstores, Ulta and online
MAKEUP AND BEAUTY BLOG RATING: A- (that glue is pretty bootsy)

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

I was just looking at these a few days ago lol. They’re so pretty and the set is a pretty good deal too. Guess I’ll have to go back and get it lol

What a lovely set! I never wear falsies though. I just suck ballz at applying them. I just glue all over the place and chances are I’ll end up with fake lashes on my nostrils.

They definitely look lightweight and wearable. I think I might take the plunge for Halloween this year but, you know me, I’ll opt for something ridiculously voluminous. And, most likely heavy and irritating so I can blink and complain half the night. 🙂
