Garnier Fructis Style Wonder Waves Mousse: A Wave-Defining $4 Wonder

October 23rd, 2010 by Karen 4 Comments

Dynamic beauty duo Tori and Rupert scour drugstore aisles and cosmetics counters looking for share-worthy beauty booty like this gem from Garnier.

Garnier Fructis Style Wonder Waves Mousse

For all you wavy-haired girlies out there who love your locks but want to tame those frizzies, have I got a product for you! I discovered Garnier this year after I went on a product testing frenzy. I decided to stop straightening my hair every day (my poor fried locks 🙁 ) and embrace my hair’s natural texture, and I was determined to make it work.

Garnier Fructis Style Wonder Waves Mousse

And lo and behold, I did! Thanks to Garnier Fructis Wonder Waves Mousse (about $4 for a 6.8-oz bottle). It promises to define your waves, leaving them soft and touchably smooth. Of course, I had my doubts about such a claim because it sounded far too good to be true. I squirted out a puff of the foaming mousse (which smells amazing!) and scrunched it onto damp hair and let it work its magic overnight. Sure enough, the next day after letting my hair air dry it came out just as promised.

Garnier Fructis Style Wonder Waves Mousse

Ingredients
Aqua/Water, Isobutane, Propylene Glycol, Acrylates Copolymer, Propane, Phenoxyethanol, Triacetin, Polyquaternium-4, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Amino-Methyl Propanol, Methylparaben, Parfum/Fragrance, Polysorbate 20, Linalool, Limonene, PEG-192 Apricot Kernel Glycerides, PEG-70 Mango Glycerides, Amyl Cinnamal, Citrus Medica Limonum Extract/Lemon Fruit Extract.

I give Wonder Waves Mousse 5 out of 5 stars! It feels light and fluffy, performs as promised and has a wonderful scent. My hair even kept its volume after I slept on it all night. Oh, you get even better results when it’s used with Garnier’s Wonder Waves shampoo and conditioner as well!

Highly recommended if you’re looking for something to control your waves and add long-lasting volume. Available at drugstores.

I love everything Garnier including the sleek and shine anti humidity milk which I use with the mousse. They have excellent prices for what you get.

replying pretty late in the day, sadly garnier has not launched this line in india yet, and we have to buy the imported version (read – expensive because of crazy taxes, import duties. ) But this sure looks promising. Will keep an eye for it. As a curly haired girl another tip I learnt is to sleep with a silk scarf tied on your hair, helps when it is damp. The heat from your head, gives you softer sexier curls. Best time to put on any product and get more out of it. I tried the scarf tip with schwarzkopf mousse.
