Mele Kalikimaka! This year I introduced a friend to Jewish Christmas — we went to see Sherlock Holmes and had Chinese food. Was great. Robert Downey Jr shirtless doing the late 1800s version of ultimate fighting was a nice bonus.

ooh i was totally ogling these at sephora! i especially want to try divine and rockstar, but they all look awesome. my mom gave me a gift card and i spent forever trying to decide what to get for my once-a-year makeup indulgence. i ended up buying the tarte treasure chest limited edition palette, and it’s da beeeeest. i just wish the frickin eyeshadows were the magnetic pop-out kind like every other tarte shadow so it’s more portable, but you really can’t beat the value on that thang, both in terms of quantity and quality. i feel like i’ll never have to buy makeup again! (riiiiiiiiiiight… that feeling won’t last long)

Never used these UD pencils. I tried another type of liner from there… I think it was called smoke out or something like that. I was so excited to bring it home from Sephora because it was my first green eye liner. I opened it up over my bed (big mistake there) and the powdery liner got all over the place! I tried to wipe it up, but it left a HUGE stain that still hasn’t gone away. And this was two years ago! Maybe these liners will like me more than the last lol. Hope you’ve been having a safe and happy holiday!

I was thinking of having my hair done today.. doing a digital perm because I cannot stand my poker straight hair. Curls make for a happy Sabrina lol I just can’t decide which would be more damaging, my daily curling with a flat iron (cannot live without my flat iron) or all the heat and chemicals from a digital perm on hair that’s already been permed about a zillion times.
Oh I was actually thinking of getting a haircut like yours, I’ve been eyeing it for awhile now. Think it would look great with those curls, don’t you? Have to save up for it though, my senior hairstylist (with magic fingers) cost me a bomb!

I just got a bunch of UD makeup for Christmas! I think I’m addicted… the good news, is I’m starting to drag my mother down with me 😉 She discovered their matte shadows and loves that they’re so smooth, but still have some gorgeous colors.

Dude, I’m such a Debbie Downer this xmas, it’s ridiculous. I didn’t get to see my family for xmas this year so my parents decided not to get me any gifts, which in their heads makes perfect sense, since I wasn’t there. My MIL gave us towels and cash, both useful gifts. Unfortunately, we’ll be using the cash to pay bills. Oh, and I tried using that $20 giftcard promotion from Sephora at the very last minute and the website kept rejecting the promo code (I emailed customer service and they replied that a lot of people were having the same problem and to call the 800 number. By then buyer’s remorse had set in and I decided not to buy anything after all). I was going to buy the UD Super Stash but Sephora was all out so I decided to just forget about it. :-[

Ohhh these are so pretty. I’m too cheap to actually buy the Urban Decay Pencils, so I just bought a L’Oreal HIP pencil. I really like it but you were right in your review, using it on the lash line is no bueno. I’m part asian so I have the really oily eyelid problem, but it still is mighty purty.

Ooooo! I had these on my Christmas list but didn’t get them!! I got loads of other stuff from Sephora though, so I can’t complain. I got Benefit Coralista blush (I’ve wanted that since you posted about it), Benefit One Hot Minute (can’t wait to try it!), Tarte lipgloss, etc. etc. I’m going to have fun trying it out today!

Speaking of eyeliners, I don’t know if anyone else is having this problem, but I can’t seem to diffuse my MUFE eyeliners out when I blend them for a smoky look, especially with the lighter colors. They end up getting these weird clumps of wax… I’ve been using a sponge smudger to blend. Should I use a brush? Anyone know what I can do?
