That sounds like a great time! I have long, busy day ahead of me lol. I really wish I could sleep all day but I have a makeup appointment and I have to work tonight. Bleh. I’m glad the Sephora sale is coming up though because I’ve been dying to go on a shopping spree. There’s nothing like treating yourself for all your hard work 🙂
I’ve been really digging BECCA and Sonia Kashuk lately. I just tried the BECCA Beach Tints and Sonia Kashuk Shine Luxe Sheer lipsticks recently and now I want to collect them all.
My closet would say enough with the cardigans! Buy some blouses and shirts, you’re stuck in a rut. Unfortunately for my closet I won’t be feeding it, I’m going to probably end up spending too much money at Sephora.
It’s sunny here today after a rather stormy day yesterday. There’s a regatta on the lake & I’ll be working a few hours at the local coffee shop as a bar back for the baristas. Tomorrow I’m meeting with a client to finalize the menu for her sister’s baby shower & I”m really looking forward to that.

i was at cvs for craving of jelly beans, picked up a nyx eyeliner in copper (beautiful color)–i hadn’t used any nyx products, didn’t know what to expect, but loved the color. used it, and it is great, smooth, easy to use, and how many times can i comment on the color? i have a bunch of stila eyeliners, and nyx is much, much better.

I want to win because I really need the prize due to the fact that I have worked very hard the past 6 months and lost 40lbs. I stopped drinking soda and eating fatty foods, making better choices actually on what I eat. Also I am walking 2 miles every morning and doing 30 mins of cardio every afternoon. I’m adopting this way of life to stay thin and healthy!! Now the side effects of this weight loss is wonderful!! The #1 being all the awesome self confidence..I am so proud of myself for accomplishing such a monumental goal. I can’t wait to go to the family reunion in a month, and look fabulous in a new update outfit, hair and make up which is where I’ll definitely wear this makeup!! This reveal of my new thin and confident self will blow my family away for sure I’m so excited!!

Happy Saturday. It is kind of cold and dreary here in Southern Oregon so I will be hanging out with family inside today. Speaking of my family, I have two of the best shoulders to lean on in them. My hubby is my rock, I adore him. He has cancer, and I have had to step it up with the help of my other rock, my daughter. We are an amazing family. So strong together with plenty of love to bind us forever!
Im so excited to have dinner with my friend one last time before she goes back to alaska <3 I miss her so much!

A makeup brand I am loving right now is Urban Decay. Today I tried out the powder foundation and I love it. I also tried out the concealer and naked blush palette and love them both as well. I am also loving Clinique for their cheek pops and Too Faced for the Sugar Pop palette 🙂

Things I’m obsessing over. Right now I’m obsessed with my new Viseart 01 Neutral Matte palette. Seriously the best eyeshadow I’ve ever used … by a long shot! I’m also obsessing over Paco Rabanne 1 Million Intense perfume sample, really beautiful!
Right now I’m really loving Nars because of the new luminous foundation & matte lip pencils. I also can’t get enough of Burberry because of the gorgeous blushes and eye shadows. And finally I love Hourglass because their Ambient Lighting Powders are my holy grail setting/ finishing powders.

I have contributed to a Kickstarter. It was the campaign for “Reading Rainbow.” I loved the show when it was on PBS, and I’m excited that it is back in app form.
My daughter (4yr old) and I had a fun morning/afternoon! We went to get her hair trimmed at my favorite salon (they use Davines). Visited the humane society and patted a few kittens. Went to Target. Had lunch. We are about to take a nap now! 🙂 yay!

I think if my closet could talk, it would say, “Meow!!” It’s been taken over as the secret clubhouse by my cats. I keep finding cat toys in my shoes. I think they spend the day in there plotting new ways to silently thieve food from the kitchen table and counters when the humans look away for a second….

If my closet could talk, it would probably say “why don’t you ever wear anything that’s in me besides the jackets?” Lately, I’ve been wearing jeans and t-shirts or long sleeve shirts… It might also say “you and I both know that you’ll never wear that loose tunic length tank top with the giraffe decal… it has a 3D fabric flower on it for goodness sakes.” My closet would definitely be passive aggressive.

The only Kickstarter I’ve ever contributed to was for a local movie theater that has been in my city since the early 1900s to undergo a renovation. It has since been beautifully restored and remains a staple of our community- so neat to see!

I’m currently excited for Urban Decay’s summer collection. I plan on snatching up a few of those eyeshadows and blushes.

I’m loving rms beauty right now. Their Living Luminizer knows how to get a face glowing. I’m slowly discovering Marc Jacobs Beauty since its not available in Germany. The Highliners are insanely good. Oh and ck one color. The 3-In-1 Face Makeup is my all time fav. Flawless skin in a bottle!
3 makeup brands I like right now:
– Lancôme: they’ve really renewed their range in the past few years, I love their most recent lip products, and they’re still priced lower than most department store brands.
– Smashbox: I’ve only started to discover their universe recently, and I like how usable and versatile their products are. The Halo Blush is awesome.
– Too Faced: I was put off by the excess of pink and hearts for a while, but I’ve fallen right back in!
My closet would say, “Help! I’m drowning in striped shirts and boxes of make-up!”

The weather here in the NE has decided to become more “spring like” The temperture will be in the high 50’s- 60’s and the sun will shining!!! This is a really, really big deal for us living in the NE, we have had the coldest and most snowiest winter in a very, very long time. What will I be doing?, I’ll be working all weekend long and Monday too. Although, I am off Tues and guess what???? It’s suppose to rain.. If I win this generous prize, Tues will be the day I spend the whole day at Sephora.

Yes I have contributed to online funding campaigns for two films I wanted to see made. One is about Marcelo Gomes, Brazilian dancer and choreographer from American Ballet Theatre. look him up on youtube, you are in for a treat.
IVe been really digging MAC Cosmetics, Tarte, and Dior. I tried a Dior foundation and it was medium coverage but so flawless! And Mac lipsticks and shadows I’ve been into recently. I am absolutely loving Josie Maran’s Matchmaker foundation. I had been using a different brand for many years before I decided to try this one and I’m so glad I did. It goes on white but somehow blends perfectly into my skin and leaves my face looking flawless! Must be some kind of magic goin’ on. 🙂
For my lips, it’s Artistry Sheer Coverage lip gloss and for my eyes, I use both Nyx and Covergirl ShineShadow.

My closet would most definitely say, ‘Clean me!’ and ‘Let there be light!’ It’s super tiny and doesn’t have an overhead light, so I’ve rigged it up with Instabulbs.
As for makeup brands I love right now, definitely Colourpop, am excited for new Urban Decay summer stuff and I’m a big fan of some of the Makeup Geek items I got recently. I’d never tried that brand before.

I hurt my knee last year during a run (or I should say I didn’t notice it until the second day so I blamed it for the run..) so I haven’t really jogging ever since… sad. I bought knee brace and wear that to work out on the machine and so far so good. I was actually surprised it could really work.

Three makeup brands I’m loving right now: IT Cosmetics (CC Cream with all-mineral sunscreen, concealer, excellent synthetic brushes), Make Up For Ever (color! innovative formulas, wonderful synthetic brushes), Urban Decay (new colors!, great formulas), Kevyn Aucoin (a contour powder that’s not warm!), Hourglass (gorgeous powders and blushes for my older skin, the best synthetic brushes of all), Cover Fx (anxiously awaiting delivery of their new high-pigment Custom Cover Drops so I can mix my own base products with sunscreen for summer), Too Faced (Melted lippies, new palettes I want to check out), Clinique (stepping up their game with their new Color Pop blushes and lipsticks) — wait — was that more than three? Well, I just love make-up, and no one brand seems to do everything that I like to perfection. I wish I could say that all my favorite brands are completely cruelty-free. At least IT Cosmetics, Urban Decay, Hourglass, Cover Fx, and Too Faced make the list, as far as I know. I hope the others are working on it.
Three things that keep running through my mind: I really need to check out Game of Thrones, I need to get serious about my diet so I can look cute in summer clothes, and I need to spring clean ASAP.

The only kickstarter I’ve supported thus far is for a local taco place. They ended up making their goal and were able to open up a full time restaurant! 🙂 Yay tacos!
I supported exploding kittens on kick starter. It is a card game. It looks hilarious. I couldn’t resist.
