So…what is the Monday Poll?
Excellent question! It isn’t, contrary to its name, an actual poll, like with little clicky buttons. It’s just a list of five more or less random questions I’ve been posting on this blog every Monday morning for the past quadrillion years (since 2007). I love reading your answers, and it helps me get my week off to a good start. ?

I’m going to stop mindlessly scrolling through social media at night (it’s such a time vortex), and go to bed earlier. Amazing what a full night’s sleep will do for your energy levels, mood, mental acuity… Yeah, sleep is good!
4. Best beauty advice you’ve ever gotten from your hair stylist?
Don’t overdo it with your hair dryer or curling iron…or heat stylers in general.
5. Concealer or foundation?
Hmm… Well, I like both, but I’ll go with foundation here, since I’m not a big fan of that feeling of concealer sitting on my face.
6. The O.G. Urban Decay Naked Palette or NARS Orgasm Blush?
I like Orgasm well enough, but it’s too sparkly. Give me NARS Deep Throat any day of the week!
7. Spray tan or blowout?
Blowout, but only if I don’t have to do it myself. LOL.
8. How many palettes are too many palettes for a single eye look? Your max amount of palettes for a single eye look?
Two! Anything more than two is too complicated.

Yes, sleep! Even 30 extra minutes makes a whole world of difference.

Go out in nature, I’ll definitely go to the ocean later in the week. Maybe a garden walk.

Use a tshirt to squeeze water out of my hair to keep curls more intact.

I spot conceal instead of using foundation.

Naked palette, Orgasm just loooks like a sparkly highlighter on my skin.

I’ve never had either, they both sound unappealing.

Leopard all day, everyday!

I think yours is a good one. Also physical therapy because my pain is a lot less severe when I do it.

Put oil on the ends, wash it as much as you need to (I have really fine hair and I sweat a lot, so I wash frequently, especially in the summer)

I don’t do much eyeshadow! More than two seems like a pain.

YES. I love a big bottom lash.
YES! I’ve started consistently putting oil on the ends after I get out of the shower and it makes such a big difference!

I’m glad you like the polls. 🙂 I have a little extra time now that I’m not at the bakery, which is why the polls are a little longer. I hope it’s not too hot where you are. It’s in the 80s here today, and I no longer have any tolerance for hot weather and am practically melting, ha ha ha!
Its hot . hot at 8 in the am but i guess being on the east coast we have to cherish it because we get snow . Do you have a lot of humidity , cause it can be sixty degrees but feel like 90
Occasionally, but it’s not as intense as it is on the east coast or in Hawaii. We have heat but for the most part it’s dry heat, which is like walking around outside in an oven!

Yes, my lashes are almost completely blonde (strawberry blonde) and you can’t see them unless I put mascara on.

Happy Monday to you, Ruchita! My weekend was very relaxing. We went on a picnic on Saturday and then hung out and loafed around the house on Sunday, which was *much* needed.

6. The O.G. Urban Decay Naked Palette or NARS Orgasm Blush? The Nakeds for sure. It’s a nice selection of wearable, versatile neutrals whereas NARS Orgasm turns orange on me.
7. Spray tan or blowout? A blowout would be nice. There’s something about spray tan that looks a bit off and unnatural to me.

10. Mascara on your lower lashes: yes or no? Yes and no. My eyelashes are black to begin with so for casual makeup I don’t bother with mascara on the lower eyelashes. For evening or special occasions, though, I always like to add a bit of mascara to the lower lashes.

I dunno about you, but I need a massage. I had one two weeks ago and now I really need one because I’m so sore from caring for my mom 24/7.
