Hello and happy Saturday, beautiful girl! And just so we’re totally clear, I think you’re lovely inside and out.
We’re in full-on lockdown mode here again, as are many millions of my compatriots across the country, and the only place I’m going with this glittery makeup (via the Urban Decay Boogie palette) is the parking lot of a Walgreens for a curbside pickup to get some last-minute picture Christmas cards.
Seriously, when will I ever learn? Around September every year I say to myself, “Self, you’re going to order your Christmas cards early this year,” and yet here we are again… Le sigh!
Speaking of glitter, I just discovered the magic of makeup artist Hannah Martin. She’s very good at breaking down the “whys” and “hows” of her technique, and I’m deeply in love with this green glittery look I plan to try ASAP.
So pretty!

I’ve been sooo lazy today! Watched cooking shows all morning on my local PBS, and now I started watching Derry Girls on Netflix, kinda funny/cute.
I have a few presents to wrap and I think I am about done shopping, which feels good! Have a great weekend!
How funny that you should mention that show; I just wrapped a few presents and watched the first episode. I have kind of a hard time with the accents so I have to watch with subtitles. Seems like a fun show though!

Working today! I’m in PA and stuff is open except indoor dining and gyms. (So glad hair/nail salons are still open.) People are out & about all masked up. Going out for an outdoor dinner tonight so I will be bundling up. Luckily the restaurant has patio heaters Stay safe in CA!

I walked Hettie earlier. It’s very warm here, 50s and rainy. My parents live a few hours north of here though and have like 8 inches of snow.
I had to go to the co-op before our walk to pick up cardamom for those shortbread cookies I mentioned. I just made the dough and have it in the freezer. I made homemade strawberry jam for them too.
That calico is gorgeous! My mom had an adorable quartet of marmie boy kittens a few weeks ago at the shelter she works at.
Oh, speaking of cat antics. My dad’s cat Lady Higgins puked from atop the entertainment center and it got into the stereo and fried it ?♀️
Hannah used to be a Bobbie Brown makeup artist. I guess not anymore.
But the very next day, you gave it away. 🙂 It’s one of my good friends’ fave xmas song. I’m more in your camp! Btw, you look glitterific! I’m sorry it was wasted on Walgreens and even sorrier to hear that you (and many others) are back in lock-down. 🙁
