Happy Saturday, beauty friend! It’s going to be a skin care kinda day because I’ll be headed to Ulta in a few. Their Fall Haul sale is happening right meow and runs until October 1.
My Ulta Fall Haul skin care picks
- Cerave Healing Ointment (I use this on cuts, bug bites, scrapes, dry skin and cuticles) and Moisturizing Cream (a simple, fragrance-free heavy hitting hydrator).
- e.l.f. Holy Hydration! Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm (I use this as a first cleanse to remove makeup and mineral sunscreen).
- Bliss Block Star (A tinted mineral sunscreen rockstar).
- Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser (I like this for when my skin’s feeling moody).
- Avene Tolerance Control Skin Recovery Balm (Again, for when my skin’s crabby, like when I accidentally overdo it with an AHA).
Dior 999 on sale!
Speaking of a good sale, if you had your eye on the Dior 999 Forever Lipstick, it’s currently on sale for $35.70 at Macy’s with the code VIP.
Happy shopping!

I saw an article yesterday about the Brad Pitt skin care for all genders. Stunning packaging and it’s formulated with grapes from his winery. But at almost $400 for each item other than the cleanser I’m going to have to pass (my biggest splurge is currently Saint Jane C Drops and Serum). Ulta sounds like a fun way to spend a Saturday. Enjoy!

How are you liking the Saint Jane C Drops? I was thinking of either trying that one or the famous Vintner’s Daughter serum.
Brigid says
I went for Saint Jane as it was half the cost of Vitner’s Daughter, which I’ve heard nothing but good about. Normally I wear Honua Youth Serum but it was out of stock so “Plan B”. I’m loving it and have purchased a second bottle so I don’t run out. Most Vitamin C serums break me out and it didn’t and left my skin really silky. At night I wear it under a few drops of the S.J. serum and my face is soft and clear in the morning.

I read about Brad Pitts skincare line and while I love the packaging, I am not into the prices and what the products actually are. I mean, they do sound nice, but if I want grape based skincare, I’ll grab Caudalie for a third of the price.
