Quick five minute makeup today!
I followed this tutorial by one of my faves, makeup artist Hung Vanngo.
The key makeup products I used are MAC Date Maker lipstick (so good), Laura Mercier Corsica liquid blush, Chanel Espresso eyeliner (THE BEST), Chanel Rosy light Drops liquid highlighter and YSL Faux Cils mascara. I also tried a new-to-me concealer — Revlon Colorstay Skin Awaken in 050.
If you’re in the Bay Area… How did you fare during the storm last night? I was a little freaked out when I drove Connor to dance because the rain was coming down in sheets and the roads were starting to flood. Our power stayed on, though. (Knock on wood.)
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

This post reminds of Lizzo’s song, “Good As Hell”! “I do my hair toss, check my nails, baby how ya feelin’?” 🙂
Hope you guys aren’t getting washed away with all the crazy weather going on out your way.
Karen says
I *love* that song, Karen! It always puts me in a good mood. (Now all I have to do is paint my nails, ha!)
So we made it through the night OK. Our power stayed on (knock on wood) and nothing flooded.
How’s it going out your way?

I’ve said it before and I’m gonna say it again, you have gorgeous hair. Love the quick makeup look, too!
We’re having a welcome break from the rain down this way.
Karen says
Aww, thanks. I keep feeling the need to do stuff to my mane… I think I see a gloss in my future.
We’re getting a break from the rain today, too. Did you have any flooding in your neighborhood?
Tatiana says
Ooooh! Glosses are so pretty!
We live about 1/2 mile as the crow flies from a creek. There was flooding further downstream earlier in the week but this recent river of rain didn’t coincide with high tide so all the water stayed in the banks.
I’m worried about next Monday. Seems like they’re predicting a lot of rain.

Stay safe during this crazy weather – I hate driving in the pouring rain when the streets get flooded, especially when I have the kids with me.

Love this make up look so much!
Glad you survived the rain.
