The catnip carrots and peppers were ripe and ready, so Farmer Tabby went out early this morning and took care of business.
One of the perks, of course, of doing your own farming is nibbling along the way, and Tabs got his fill.
He saved a few carrots and peppers for later, though. I love carrots and peppers myself, but I don’t particularly like these varieties. The ones Tabs planted have very strong catnip notes…
After he finished gardening, Tabs came back into the office and gave the new intern a lesson on proper petting.
It’s been a pretty purr-ductive day so far. 🙂

After Tabs chews, claws and kicks at his catnip prey, does he drool? Nora will hold the catnip filled mouse in her front paws, while chewing on it and kicking at it with her back feet. Then she rubs it all over her face. When I take it away from her (if I don’t and she gets too much she barfs) she stumbles and drools. We call her stoner kitty. So much for catnip giving a cat energy.
