Back from Vietnamese food for din-din, and now I’m freshly showered and ready to watch the next episode of my latest TV obsession, Downton Abbey!
“…my latest TV obsession.” I must type that phrase at least five time a week.
Anywho, Tabs finally talked me into giving it a try, and I’m so glad I caved because it’s 10 shades of great. It’s filled with royal politicking and machinations, just like life with Tabs. 🙂
The reason he wanted me to watch it is because he’s actually a guest star on the show. Yep, he plays a groundskeeper in a few of the episodes who takes care of the family’s extensive 4-acre zinnia garden.
I’m just about to fire up the next episode, so I gotta run. Feel free to hit me up in the comments if you’d like to Downton Abbey dish.
But first! — highlights from Tabs’ kitty modeling work this week. He had shoots with Essie, Burberry, Tarte, Estée Lauder and Hourglass.
Who is Tabs the Cat? About three years ago I befriended a stray, flea-bitten tabby cat with a bad case of worms. I could see he’d fallen on hard times, but his profound knowledge of high fashion and department store cosmetics led me to believe that he was more than meets the eye. We became fast friends, and now he’s actually my boss (and a successful kitty model). 🙂

You know, I always look forward to seeing what Tabs is up to every Sunday. It’s honestly the highlight of my day. I’m so glad Tabs (and you!) entertain all of us on a weekly basis. 🙂
And girl I am so glad you mentioned Downtown Abbey. I’ve been eyeing it on Netflix for a few weeks, and I know it must be pretty good since we have similar taste in shows!
OMG Tabs is so sweet…He’s the chubbiest cat on the block….LOL…Loved the Burberry post.He is a kitty with an amazing fashion sense and a makeup diva…No wonder he get onto you to share so many amazing makeups..LOL
I’ve just been informed that Missy has “always wanted a Burberry cat carrier.” OF COURSE she has! I’ll get right on that!
I am so obsessed with Downton Abbey. I just got done watching the latest episode on PBS. I find the writing so interesting. I love how the “masters” treat the staff with such humanity, and as equals, for the most part. That’s not something you usually see portrayed.
It’s big talent to do look Tabs everyday! I love your cat!

Oh the ways in which I love Downton Abbey… Well, it has Dame Maggie Smith in it and the Countess Dowager is Fierce with capital F. And I may also be positively inclined towards it because I saw Dan Stevens (who plays Matthew) live on the West End a couple of years ago and he was so incredibly nice at stagedoor. Yes, and also Branson and Sybil are adorable.
I really could go on but I’ll spare you 🙂

I’m watching the second season of Downton Abbey at the moment. The next episode is on tonite! I hope they will make more seasons (I don’t know if they are going to?)!

Totally into DOWNTON ABBEY too…..I watched the entire 1st season on Hulu this weekend and am HOOKED!!

Tabs really is the high point of my Sundays. Pepper curls up in my lap and we both admire his work. She sends purrs and head butts.
And, um. I’d buy a Burberry cat carrier. Totally would. Kill my bank account for months and I wouldn’t care.
