It’s official; we’re in the dog days of summer, which reminds me… Tabs was always down with the canines, even though it wasn’t always kosher within the feline community.
A lot of people didn’t know this, but Tabs had a secret canine BFF. His name was Chorizo, and they lost touch when Tabs moved to France to attend Le Cordon Bleu culinary academy.
Tabs also invested in several canine companies and held a majority ownership stake in KONG, makers of the classic dog toy.
Also, to unwind after a rigorous day of kitty modeling, sometimes Tabs would have me drive him to a local dog park, where he would play fetch, share fashion tips and discuss the news of the day.
Bet ya didn’t know that Tabs loved cat ladies and dog ladies, too. ?

How cool to learn Tabs was all inclusive (except for Harris). Canines are ok with the tabbies it seems!

I have been a follower of yours for years. I came back to the blog and thought…uh oh. Where’s Tabs? I then scrolled back and saw the news. I started sobbing. I’m so glad you are keeping Sundays with Tabs. He was such a part of all of our lives. My favorite pics of him were from one of your last walks. He closed his eyes, enjoying the breeze, sun and grass. May we all do that once in a while. Sending love to you from DC. And Tabs is playing with Oscar, MY feline model who passed in 2017. I still miss him, and while the pain subsides, they never leave you.
