She’s polite about most things, but when it comes to food, she’s got absolutely no shame.
Tabs, though, would wait patiently while you prepared his food. Even though he loved to eat, as evidenced by his profound girth. (At the height of his powers, he was a mighty 18 pounds.) But he would always wait until you were out of the way…
And then he’d stroll over to enjoy his meal…

My dog thinks that everything that goes on in the kitchen is about her .
She eats one meal about 3 pm but if you go in the kitchen for even a drink shes there .
The real fun is 3 pm when my MIL makes chicken for her .
She loves it .

PGR cracks me up, and I find out new things about her every day. Like this weekend, we figured out that she’s obsessed with ball toys with feathers attached. She goes crazy for them!
Gravy and sauce are very popular with Freya. She eats all the sauce from her turkey meat and from Ragnar’s as well. Luckily, he is very good natured and eats the dry meaty bits left behind…

Hettie is like Pretty Girl Rosie in this respect. You also can’t keep food on the counter. She once ate a whole loaf of fancy bakery bread. Once a whole box of cookies. But she came to the shelter as an adult stray who was already spayed, so we think her life wasn’t great before us.
Jiji is pretty polite.
What is it with pets and bread? Tabs LOVED bread. Especially brioche. 🙂

I can’t blame them! Bread us delicious. She’s also stolen just butter off the counter. Once I gave her them together after a bath (she hates baths) and her mind was blown.
There’s a dog I follow named Murray who is obsessed with English muffins. He actually won the Thomas’ English Muffins biggest fan contest. He’s such a sweetie, I want to meet him.

Our cat is very persistent until he has his food, then takes two bites and then stares at you until you let him finish his meal alone.
