Well, it looks like we’ve gotten a brief respite from the rain this morning, yay! Shoot, I think I even see patches of blue in the sky. Of course, my office still feels like a dark, cold cave, but at least the freezing rains have stopped.

That reminds me, why do morning TV news shows always send reporters out into storms just to report back that there is, in fact, a storm? “Jane! Quick, get over to the Target parking lot, and get me some footage of the [INSERT INCLEMENT WEATHER HERE]!” And it’s usually a woman, and she’s usually in heels.

In central PA we got around 4 inches of snow in the last few days and surprisingly I don’t mind it. It’s actually beautiful and since I have nowhere to be today I can sit inside and look at it!
We’re getting tons of snow, and rain here! As for a face mask I just tried the Nude skincare’s miracle mask and I’m not sure I like it. It smoothed my skin but that was about it. Plus it didn’t smell good so that was disappointing. Thanks for another great giveaway!

I love windy weather! It can be fall, summer, winter, or spring, as long as a breeze is blowing, I’m happy (even if it does mess up my hair)!! Today it’s raining and humid 🙁 (it’s January!!! how is it humid and hot????), but it’s been a good day so far so I can’t complain! It’s rainy in The Netherlands. It’s been rainy for a couple of days now. This weather is not my favorite weather. I love it when it’s sunny, but not too hot. I know this sounds ridiculous, but I’ve been absolutely addicted to the TV show “Pretty Little Liars”. Its such a silly show – and most likely marketed towards girls much younger than me – but its so good!

I love spring and autaumn, not too hot and not too cold:) And everything is so beautyful!
I don’t know if I can even COUNT how many skincare products I use a day! I’m very dry skinned and I live in a cold, snowy place so constant moisturizing is imperative. If you count various lip balms I’d say 8-10. My goodness that’s a lot!

today is a home spa day because of the weather (freezing rain) i just bought a Clairsonic Mia and am learning how to use it! i’m also doing an intense moisture treatment on my face, i tweezed my brows and treated them to some eye cream, and i’m doing laundry and lighting candles.

I really like new mac naturally collection.
I thought it was going to be cloudy and dark and rainy all day here in the Potrero Hill area of San Francisco today, but alas – blue skies! It looks pretty dang windy though! Good face mask: Almond and Mineral Treatment by Eminence – I apply this twice a week for about 5 minutes while I’m showering. Leaves my skin all glowy and smooth.
My favorite show right now is Pretty Little liars 🙂 those girls are so gorgeous! and the show is AHMAZING!. Currently the face products i use skin care wise i use a scrub face wash in the morn and a gentle one at night. i have my RE Everything lotion, L’oreal Youth Code spf30 moisturizer, then aveeno night cream. thats pretty much all i use for my face, 🙂
The weather in Kentucky apparently can’t decide what it wants to be! Sunny and mid-60s one day, stormy and low-40s the next! Mix in some snow periodically and you have winter in the Bluegrass!

Well, as being from Florida, it is so incredibly nice when the weather is breezy and you can take nice, long walk down the beach or in your neighborhood with your puppy. I love sitting outside when it’s that weather, so then you can read a book or eat your scrumptious breakfast. My current lipgloss crush isn’t a lipgloss, but actually a lip balm. It’s the clinique chunky cherry. It leaves a very pretty red color behind and works with most skin tones and moistures your lips! It is so cute and pretty, I’m just obsessed with it. Although i can’t recommend a good face mask, Nutrogena makes a great face wash that works so well. Its the Grapefruit one. It also smells super yummy. Switched at Birth, New Girl and Modern Family are my favorite TV shows. I started watching Jane by Design, which is pretty good as well. I’d like to be an interior designer when I grow up. I love sephora!

I am loving my Tarte for True Blood make up collection! The eye shadow palette is sooooooooo gorgeous!!! Great packaging and excellent quality! The cheek stain is to die for, smells delicious and it gives a beautiful glow, looks so natural. The lip stain is amazing too, moisturizing and pretty!! This is definitely my all time fave make up! 🙂
I absolutely hate the snow and cold. I’m from Chicago, and it’s not fun at all here right now. True, this isn’t the worst winter that we’ve had, but it’s still annoying. The water coming out of our faucets is cold, since the pipes get cold. We also have to brush off the car constantly, and also plow and shovel snow. I love Chicago too much to move somewhere warm, so I just put up with it, which is easy to do since I’ve lived here my whole life. It kind of makes me feel a bit tougher, having to put up with our winters. XD

my favorite face mask is cocoa powder and honey. The cocoa powder is grainey enough to gently exfoliate, while the honey puts moisture back into my skin. It always leaves my face super duper soft 🙂

I like fall weather, or at least weather that isn’t too hot or freezing.
I’m totally obsessed with Fresh’s Umbrian Clay face mask. It’s fantastic for oily/combo skin types. You can use it as a mask (duh!) or as a cleanser which is pretty sweet. Also, during the summer I had one or two bug bites (I’m going to blame Central Park!) and I put a bit on each little red spot and they were practicly gone by the next day. Booyah.
It snowed about 10-12 inches here in the past 3 days…and I got my car stuck. Crappy day 🙁
Being that where I live it’s 15 degrees and we have 5 inches of snow…..I would love to be in the rain of CA instead of here. =)

As for weather, I hate snow/serious cold. One of the first things I did when I moved to New Orleans was throw out my ice scraper and it felt great!
It usually takes hours for me to thaw out after shoveling the snow- luckily it was light and fluffy today but my legs are still freezing. I can’t believe this is the first real snow we’ve had this year (except for the freak Oct31 ice storm). I think some bronzer would make me feel less palid and snowbound.
Just recently bought MAC’s Vegas Volt lipstick and I’m in love… especially when I throw “Tour de Fabulous” lipglass over it! Those and MAC’s Flamingo are my favourite lip products lately 🙂

As part of my new year’s resolution I’m trying to take better care of my skin. I take of my makeup w/ neutragena wipes then wash. My face with clinique skincare line. Then put on eye cream (clinique moisture surge) and even better serum for hyperpigmentation. Then in the mornings I put on facial sunscreen and primer (hard candy sheer envy) before makeup. Also wet n wild lash serum.
My skin care regimen:
I’m due to have a baby girl in March, and she sucked the life right out of my skin right away. To counter that, I’ve had to make my own moisturizer (and it’s wonderful): 80% aloe vera, 10% jojoba, 5+% veggie glycerin, and a couple drops of rose hip oil for anti-aging. I’ve survived all winter with it without a hint of dry skin on my face. For stretch mark prevention, it’s a combo of pure coconut oil followed up by shea butter.
I love warm weather. I don’t like winter in NYC. Cold weather with strong winds is the worst.
I’m happy to see the end of the snow here in WA (for now anyway). We have been very lucky in that our power was only out for approximately 8 hours during the whole storm. Some of my friends have had no power for three days now and that’s no fun at all. Bring on Spring, I love Spring:)

I was laughing as the Atlanta weathermen struggled with something to say (today) during their coverage of the thunderstorm.They said people should get their cars in their garages or under their carports because of hail. They even added they should do it BEFORE the hail started. Now that’s some really good advice, I’m sure car owners would never have thought of that on their own.

I’ve lived in the tropics twice (2 years in the Philippines, 3 years in Panama), and I miss the weather. Hot and humid, sure, but you’re never cold and you can jet ski year round!

LOL I’ve always wondered about the weather reports, too! They usually look so miserable and I just want to bring them a warm blanket and a cup of tea and usher them inside. It’s fun to know a lipstick lasted through your yoga class, etc. but agreed, no need to go out in a storm for a waterproof eyeliner test. 😛

I’m so not sucking up, but my current fav lip gloss is Evolution Revolution. It’s just such a pretty neutral and the multi shimmer makes it so cool. I’ve been keeping it in my purse and wearing it by itself or over Revlon Wink for Pink, Maybelline Fruit Punch (the sheer jelly like lippie) or MAC Meltdown. I’m on the lookout for a good peach that isn’t too shimmery to wear with it too, as my Maybelline Wet Shine Fusion in Peach Nectar finally went bad.
I am so ready for spring. I want to see flowers and leaves on the trees.

I’ve lived in a number of different climates (from dreary drizzling Seattle to the horrifying heat of Fresno) but just recently moved to Long Beach, which never strays far from the 60s-80s range year-round. It’s practically insanity and I love it so far. Hope things are beautiful where you are!

I bought a joli rouge lipstick in shade 704 cupid red…The colour is a beautiful red and the feel is glossy.I feel like a princess whenever i wear this lipstick…The totall effect of this lipstick takes years off ur face 🙂 and u feel wonderful
It’s funny because I live in the Vancouver area and we never get more than a centimeter of snow, if any, but this week we got more than 40 cm plus freezing rain. Three school districts were closed for four days in a row! We’re probably going to have a lot of flooding really soon.

I absolutely, hand-down, L-O-V-E winter. Not the below freezing, blizzard inducing horror. No, but just the way it is now over here. The perfect nip in the air, light breeze, makes me wanna curl up under my cushy blanket and never come out. The only downside to this weather is the havoc it wreaks on my skin. Its sooooo dry 🙁
My fave kind of weather is tropical, but switching it up with SF weather is nice as well =) gives more options for clothing hehe
I want to earn a living by drawing when I grow up (because, at 30, I am not yet grown up). However, I do enjoy teaching, which is what I do, as well.
And I, too, am glad for the respite from the rain here in the South Bay.

My favorite is autumn weather, 40 degrees, slight wind. Second favorite is snow, not quite blizzard conditions. Actually, scratch that, my absolute favorite is thundersnow but it’s pretty rare.
I love a cool, slightly overcast day with no rain/humidity in sight, and the kind of gentle breeze that’s just really refreshing and makes you feel like you can get anything done.

My favorite weather is the springy/ almost summer type weather where during the day when the sun is out you can walk around in short sleeves and at night you might need a light jacket or a blazer just because the temp has dropped a little bit! Ugh… I love it!! And my favorite tv shows are pretty much anything that has to do with law and crime… like The Firm and Prime Suspect. I also really love reality tv… pretty much all of it! lol And definitely Revenge! That is a must see!!
