P.S. A few things I’ve had on my mind lately…
1. Taylor Swift’s “Midnights”
Anyone else listening to this on repeat? My favorite song is “Anti-hero.”
2. Officially a morning person
Ya know, I don’t know when it happened, but I’ve become a morning person. I realized it yesterday when I let myself sleep until 7 on a weekday for the first time in a long time; I felt like I lost an entire morning! Not waking up at 5:30 feels weird to me now, and when I don’t have that early block of time, the rest of my day feels off.
3. Repeating numbers
Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of repeating numbers. I’ll glance at the clock or my phone and see 11:11, 1:11, 2:22 and 5:55 especially. I don’t know a lot about numerology and am not sure if I believe in it, but I certainly believe in heeding signs from the universe, and this feels like a big, flashing sign. What do you think? Am I reading too much into it? Anywho, I did some googling on repeating numbers and enjoyed this article quite a bit.

Sorry I am late to the game and just caught up. I am also sorry you lost your job. I’ve been there many times and this last time, I finally decided to try a new path. So far, it has been good, not so good financially, but definitely emotionally.
So in terms of my makeup, I switched to Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Longwear Foundation for the cooler months My winter shade is BD21. I like the warm tone to counteract the redness. Also, since October is my birthday month, I splurged on the Chanel tweed quad in Brun et Rose. The shadows are up my alley but, I’m not sure the price was worth the added tweed pouch. I also have the new Rouge Allure in Nuance and my Laura Mercier blush in Passionfruit.

I am not wearing much makeup today as I work from home, but not nothing (that makes me feel incomplete), so here we go:
Eyes: MAC Club eyeshadow (pulled it out for the first time in ages), L’Oréal Liquid Liner (a staple), Avon Great Lengths mascara (just average).
Face: Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Concealer under my eyes, MAC face powder through the t-zone and MAC Garb on my cheeks.
Quite a bit of MAC, I realize…
I am a morning person as well, although I get up at 6 am. The only way to get stuff done for me, after 5 pm I am useless and just want to relax.
