Here’s the last of today’s MAC attack: product pics and swatches of two of the three Magically Cool Liquid Powders ($29.50 US/$35.50 CDN).

They cast their spell on MAC counters May 5 in North America and internationally some time in May.

These remind me of those powders that Prescriptives used to make. I don’t remember what they were called, but they had a cooling effect too.

Tammy these are the cooling powders prescriptives use to make. Mac purchased it from prescriptives and debuted it last year in venomous villians.

Love Truth & Light, but how do these differ from their irridescent powder?

I have Cajun (the third one) and it is great to give a certain bronzey look to the skin without using a bronzer. I use it on the hairline and around the face and love the feeling. Are these going to be permanent now? that would be great, I was using Cajun just on special occasions thinking I was going to run out of it.

I need Honey Rose! Truth and Light was too sparkly for me and Cajun was way too dark and muddy. I did have a problem with these “pilling up” on my skin though and could never find the right way to apply them. I tried everything from brushes to fingers to cotton balls. I’ll have to test them again, but Like i said, I like Honey Rose!

i got Truth & Light last year w/ Venomous Villains and i <3 it!

Honey Rose looks really promising, though part of me wishes they also bought back Cajun. 🙂

I would have to test before I buy. Not sure if these are up my alley.

I liked these but didn’t love them. What’s your fave way to apply these?

I love these powders! They feel good on my skin and create a nice light veil of luminescence. All three colors are great for all skin tones too.

I’m intrigued with this product. Just how “magicially cool” is the powder??

These actually made me break out on my cheeks, which never happens! I love the cooling effect, but not the aftermath, lol.
