Stop Mascara From Smudging With This Makeup Hack

April 26th, 2018 by Karen 6 Comments

cover eyes setting spray
That’s MAC Fix+ in Pinklite, ya nosy noodle!

Just an FYI, I’m not playing peek-a-boo (although it does kinda look like that!). The simple act of covering your eyes when you’re misting your face with makeup setting spray stops it from touching your mascara.

And no wet lashes = no mascara smudging! 🙂

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

Yes! I have a routine of doing the whole face without mascara. Spraying my face and doing mascara after. But I like this too! Definitely gonna switch up my routine

I do it this way too! I have ruined SO MANY good mascara applications that way, haha. Took me ages to just learn to do mascara last lol

I apply my setting spray before applying my mascara, that works as well. I tend to do the eyes last anyway.
It will come in handy when I need to do them first though.

I’ve gotten in the habit of doing setting spray with everything on my face except mascara then *immediately* apply mascara. I’ve found it helps some of my clumpier mascaras apply a little easier if my lashes are a bit damp.

I think I am the only one that didn’t know about this LOL!
Anyway, just started applying the mascara after the setting spray and good Lord! What a difference! I was always that person with racoon eyes (sigh)
