Where’s Your Crease?

February 19th, 2009 by Karen 12 Comments

You ever notice how much makeup jargon we use? Words like crease, waterline and outer v? I just turned to El Hub and asked, “Sweetie, where’s your crease?” LOL!

He threw me a blank stare and said, “Uh…”

Oh no. the vid went slightly out of sync in the end, still a great vid nonetheless. Boys are so funny when it comes to trying to understand make up. I remember when I visited my boyfriend at school and brought enough makeup for a nice smokey eye, he was in awe of how much stuff I actually needed. 😛 He had the funniest confused face when I grabbed my bag of goods and headed to the bathroom.

I love these videos Karen. Please keep it up! What do you use to make them? Is it Final Cut?

Another Amaz-O video Karen!!! BTW, I referenced your blog on my blog in the Q&A section – my post is on Makeup Brushes and I had a reader ask about cleaning – I told them to log on and check out your cool video demonstrating Wet Ones and all their magical brush cleaning power!!! All hail Wet Ones!!!

    Hi Kyle,

I know, right? We should give them a cheat sheet with notes so they can keep up. 🙂

Good thing that your hubby doesn’t know what a crease is. I would be concerned if he knew what tight lining is.

    Hi Marisol,

LOL! The most advanced he gets is the Shu Uemura lash curler. But that’s about it.

    Hi Sarah,

Yup, that’s the brand that I use. I have an older version, though. Mine doesn’t shoot in HD.
