Buuuuuut IMHO calling it a skin tint in a stretch. When I think of skin tints, I think of sheer, glowing, barely-there finish, and I’m not getting that vibe from this product at all.
As someone who’s spent a good chuck of the last couple years wearing tints and tinted moisturizers, seeing this on my skin was kinda shocking. On my combo oily and dry face, 24H Skin Tint looks more like a medium-to-full coverage matte foundation.
Not to say that it doesn’t have good things going for it. It is HELLA long-lasting and requires absolutely no special tricks to get it to stick, even when it’s raging hot outside. I can even opt out of setting powder if I want, which is cool. It also dries down fairly quickly, too.
Oh, and the wide shade range and the fact that it’s easy to find? Definitely a plus. By the way, I wear shade 312, which is a warm medium tan with strong yellow undertones.
Ultimately, though, it’s more coverage than I’m used to wearing, and if I go even a little teeny bit overboard with the product, it starts to look heavy and my pores look very pronounced. I’m only comfortable wearing it when it’s very sheered out, like in these pics.
If you like a matte finish liquid foundation with medium-to-full coverage similar to MAC Studio Fix Fluid, 24H could be a good fit. Or, if you’re searching for a long wearing liquid that you could possibly wear even without powder, it might rock your boat.
I bought a bottle at CVS for $18.50. Kinda expensive for a drugstore foundation, but everything seems to be expensive these days, yowza!

P.S. TGIF! I’m so glad we are at the end of the week. Was it just me, or was this an unusually long week?
Connor’s dance competition season officially starts right meow. I’ll be taking her tonight to a family dance party at the studio with her new dance team, which should be fun.
I’m hoping that the parents will get out on the dance floor and dance, LOL! It’ll give me an excuse it get some steps in. 😀

So I hate to bring this up but after looking at that photo of your girl and her squad, I have to ask, are you a dance mom now??? 😂❤️👯♀️
Did you ever watch that show on lifetime? I was addicted for a while.
Karen says
LOL! Yeah, I’m a dance mom, but like, a COOL dance mom. 😀

Thank you for this review. I was thinking about trying it, but that is waaaaay too much coverage for me.

Oooh, can you also please review MAC Studio Radiance Serum-Powered Foundation? I’m disappointed to hear that the Maybelline was too heavy. I’m currently using Typology’s Skin Tint. I love the fluid texture, but the shade range is too limited. Love the dance outfits! They’ve come such a long way from when I was doing this. 😄

OK, had to come back and say – this stuff is the shit! I have a hard time finding a good match and it not breaking me out, but shade 118 is a great match (my previous matches include BB Warm Ivory and Paula Dorf Capri) for me. I guess I haven’t been wearing it enough to say definitively that it won’t break me out, but so far, so good.
I agree that this is a medium coverage, minimum. The first time I used it, I used my fingers and it was way too much. I probably only need 5 small drops to cover everything the way I want to with a flat foundation brush. It stays on all day and doesn’t crease, cake, separate or accentuate my dry skin. It’s also discounted on Amazon.
