Because Three Bad Gals Are Better than One, Benefit BADgal Waterproof Liner Is Now Available in Two New Shades

February 18th, 2011 by Karen 23 Comments

Benefit BADgal Liner Waterproof (that’s what they call it) in Charcoal on my eyes… oh, and new slightly shorter hair with highlights!

Sometimes it’s good to be bad, especially when you’re a Benefit BADGal Waterproof Liner.

Don’t worry, these BADgals won’t steal your boyfriend or trash talk behind your back. They’re actually really nice. 🙂

The first time I tried the original BADgal liner, I wore it to dance class, and we became fast friends because it wasn’t afraid to sweat. SWEAT!

This spring, two new shades are joining the BADgal Liner Waterproof gang, matte brown Espresso and matte gray Charcoal ($20 each).

Just like the original black shade, these two new pencils are smooth and easy to apply. I put on Charcoal before leaving for the salon this afternoon, and now six hours later, after one HELLUVA heavy rainstorm (guess who forgot her umbrella?), it has barely begun to smudge or fade.

This BADgal done good. 🙂

PRICE: $20, available in three shades
AVAILABILITY: April 2011 at Benefit stores, counters and benefitcosmetics.com

Ooh, lovely highlights! The only BadGal I’ve tried is the Mascara and it was a HUGE letdown. The liners look fab though 🙂

ooh! how do they compare to UD’s 24/7 liners in terms of softness and long-wearing ability?

Are these easy to remove? I tend to avoid waterproof anything because taking it off can be such a project.

Karen, do you think Charcoal would be a good substitute for the grey liner in the Dior spring palette? I never got around to buying the Dior, because it’s too much money right now, but I still want a matte grey liner. Think this will work?

I <3 the matte finish! Are there any other matte liners out there that I should try? ($20 seems a little steep for a liner.)

Ooo the hair looks great! You opted for the ombre highlights right? I am looking into getting some myself, but I have naturally dark brown/borderline black hair and I’m afraid of the highlights coming out orange or brassy. Did you have the same worries? Well, from what I can tell your hair is fabulous!

Super cute cut and highlights Karen!

I will definitely have to look into these liners. The colors are so rich and I love that they will stay put. If I had to choose just one makeup item that I couldn’t live without it would be eyeliner!!! A girl can never have too many and for me the $ is worth it since my liners seem to last forever. I have a MAC one in stubborn brown that isn’t even halfway finished that I bought in 1999 and it is one of my go to neutrals.

Oooh, those eye pencils look awesome! I hate shelling out a lot of money on eye pencils, but if it truly doesn’t smudge or fade, I might have to get my hands on one.
