Dewy Wear Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Cheek Glow? Yes, We Dew!

May 14th, 2014 by Karen 10 Comments

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Cheek Glow
The new Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Cheek Glow

How smooth is Estee Lauder’s new Bronze Goddess Cheek Glow ($28), my favorite piece from this summer’s annual Bronze Goddess collection?

Well, it’s smoother than an iced Frappuccino on a 92-degree day.

Ah… I sure could go for one of those right now.

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Cheek Glow

No matter how I’ve worn this plummy cream blush — atop bare skin, foundation or powder — it always looks smoother than velvet. I never see any patchy parts whatsoever, not even on my perennially parched bits.

The slightly shiny finish looks kind of dewy on the skin, giving it a subtle glow that makes it perfect for summer (or spring days as hot as summer).

My favorite thing about this blush is the wear time. On my dry cheeks, I get from 6-7 hours, assuming I don’t futz with my cheeks. If, however, I rest my face in my palms, or take a nap, or if Tabs comes around and starts head-butting my face, the blush meanders.

So…when you’re wearing this, watch out for affectionate head-butting cats, LOL!

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Cheek Glow

You can find Bronze Goddess Cheek Glow now with the rest of the Bronze Goddess summer collection at Estee Lauder counters and online.

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

Such a beautiful color! I love the way it looks on you! The formula sounds really nice too. I’ve never really tried anything from Estee Lauder but I definitely need to check some things out!

Oh Karen, you’re so punny! 😀

The colour is beautiful! I’m not sure I’m so much with the dewy/meandering part though – I like my cream blushes to set into a powder finish…
