MAC Makeup Reviews – MAC Royal Assets Pink Lips Palette

December 15th, 2007 by Karen 3 Comments

As promised, here are a few swatches from the MAC Royal Assets Pink Lips Palette ($22.50).

Like the new MAC Tan Lips palette, each of these sets includes two lipsticks and one gloss:

Courting Rose – soft midtone pink lipgloss
Reigning Pink – muted midtone pink lipstick
Ladyship – soft berry with pearl lipstick

The stand-out color in this trio is Lady Ship:

Loves it!

As of this morning, Pink Lips was sold out on the MAC Web site, but if it’s still available at your local counter then snag it, ASAP.

I’m off to the gym to work off the mountains of fried food and carbs I ate at that Puerto Rican restaurant in SF last night, but I’ll be back this afternoon with the Coral Lips swatches for you!

How was your evening? Did ya party like a rock star?

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Karen

    Hi Karen!

The Ladyship looks bee-yootiful on you! Definitely a star!

Well, I didn’t party like a rock star (a boring rock star, maybe!), but I did have an amazing time with my Hub last night! OMG, the Ritz-Carlton so rocks!!!!! I highly recommend it to anyone who can spare the dough for a seriously luxurious splurge! And yes, I worked the Chanel! Winter Nights shadow quad, Teint Innocence foundation and Inimitable mascara! I used a sample size Clinique blush in Cupid which they gave me a while ago and I’m really liking, and finished off with MAC lipstick in Profusion topped with a little Chanel gloss! I had so much fun putting it all on! Oh, and I wore Allure Sensuelle! 😉

And guess what? I was at the Westfield shopping center (jus’ passing through from Market Street to the parking garage) and spotted an Elizabeth Arden kiosk by the Market St. entrance! It was closed at the time, so I didn’t stop to look for the ceramide mascara, but next time I have a moment over there I’ll look!

Hope your weekend is going as fantastically as mine has been!

    Hi Glosslizard,

Woo, hoo! Hot dates RULE! I bet you looked beautiful, and it sounds like you guys had a great night (congrats again on your anniversary!). And way to go on your stealthy EA find. I’ll look for it next time I head into the city.

BTW, I love the Ritz-Carlton. Go for afternoon tea sometime, it’s fun 🙂

The birthday party last night was cool. I got to see friends who I haven’t seen in a while. Today was pretty mellow; I worked out this morning (weights day, sigh!) and did some blogging (got to play with a few new lines, my favorite part). Now I get to relax with some BBC shows, ahhhh. 🙂

    Have a good night!
