Too Faced Sweetheart Beads Radiant Glow Face Powder Is Helping Faces Be Light Hearted

March 8th, 2013 by Karen 19 Comments

Too Faced Sweetheart Beads Radiant Glow Face Powder
Here I’m wearing the new Too Faced Sweetheart Beads Radiant Glow Face Powder ($32) from this summer’s Hello Sunshine collection

Like lightning lighting in a bottle.

Sunsets inspire the new highlighting powder from Too Faced, the $32 Sweetheart Beads Radiant Glow Face Powder.

To both set your makeup and give a golden pink/late afternoon glow to your skin, just swirl your brush in the jar of multicolored powder hearts, and apply all over your face.

GURL, you don’t have to tell me about the power of lighting. When I think of how many times my friend Jen and I went clubbing and ended up talking to a dude who looked like a Baldwin in the dim club lighting, but then when the lights came up, we were like, “WHOA?!”

It’s that kind of shared trauma that bonds girlfriends for life. 🙂

Anywho, I was hoping for a full-on, buttery, “sunset in the tropics with a margarita and a hammock” glow from these Sweetheart Beads, but I think the golden pink effect gets a little lost on my NC42 tan… The effect is probably much more dramatic on ladies and gents with light and medium skin tones.

As for the shimmer, don’t worry. You won’t look like a disco ball. 🙂 I think Too Faced handled it well. It’s classy, and more of a sheen than a frost, so it doesn’t appear oily.

PRICE: $32
AVAILABILITY: Coming this summer to Too Faced counters and online

P.S. Another Friday for the books. You did a great job this week, by the way. Hope you’re having a nice night.

Hm…I don’t know about using this as a finishing powder on my oily skin, but it seems like it would make a nice, subtle highlighting bronzer!

Too bad you only gave it a B but since my complexion is lighter maybe it will suit me better? I definitely need to get it, it’s too cute to pass. Btw, what are you wearing on your lips?

Ahh these lil hearts are sooo adorable! The only thing I’m worried about is kicking some out with my brush when I swish it around in the container. It doesn’t look too deep! But still. They’re cute enough for me to make a compromise 😉

I think it looks great on you! Definitely a glowing type of look. 🙂 But if you think it’ll work better for lighter skin… Then yay! Super excited to get this. Any idea of the release date? I know Ulta is supposed to have the summer eyes by thursday. (at least, they’re advertising them for their event)
