EL HUB: Why?
ME: I’m having a Cremesheen emergency!
EL HUB: A what…?
ME: A Cremesheen emergency! I can’t find my favorite tube of MAC Cremesheen. I’m freakin’ out!
EL HUB: Why don’t you just use one of the 20 other tubes of lipstick in your purse?
TABS: Oh, boy. Here we go again…
ME: Hahaha. So not funny! It’s a gloss.
EL HUB: Okay.
ME: Can you take me to Target?
EL HUB: What? Really? It’s the middle of the night, babe. And they don’t even sell MAC at Target.
Wait — how do I know that? I know way too much about makeup…
ME: And that’s why I heart you. I HEART YOU! I heart you so much that you’re going to drive me to Target to look at the JK Jemma Kidd Air Kiss Glosses.
EL HUB: I am?
ME: You are. 🙂 They have two new colors for spring, a coral called Work It and a sheer pink called Flaunt, $16 each, and they’re slippery and slick like the MAC Cremesheens.

EL HUB: Are these gonna get all over my face when I kiss you? Because we have to ween you off of things with glitter in them. I’m getting tired of going to work with glitter on my cheeks.
ME: Oh, stop. No, both of them have a creamy finish. No glitter. And since they only last for about an hour on my lips anyhow, odds are they will have worn off when you go to kiss me.
EL HUB: I bet they taste weird…
ME: No, you’ll like the flavor and scent. It’s fruit punch, but it goes away fast.
C’mon, let’s go! I need a Target buddy.
EL HUB: [SIGH] You’re not gonna let up until I say yes, are you?
ME: Nope. 🙂
EL HUB: Alright then, let’s do this.
TABS: Pardon me, but could one of you bring back some gravy please? Yeah…if I don’t get my gravy tonight, there will be hell to pay. I’m just sayin’.

My cats are like that. You can’t bring a bag of ANYTHING in the house without being jumped on, meowed and sniffed to death. And, of course they KNOW when the bag contains cat food; I swear they can smell it through the cans!
Haha my boyfriend hates glitter! We compromise–I try to keep my glitter obsession limited to my eye makeup unless I’m not with him, and he doesn’t complain about the relatively minimal glitter fallout that ensues. He also has a love/hate relationship with my bright lipsticks–he says they look good on me, but then he can’t kiss me without looking like a clown 😛

I also use to store way too many lip glosses in my purse. I resently bought 2 makeup bags and filled them with my lipgloss, I store them in the glove box of my car since that’s where I apply them most. Now my purse weighs about 10 pounds less, and my back is thankful. It’s funny how guys just don’t get our obsessions with makeup.

When my husband and I go to Target, he always grabs my hand as we walk by the beauty department… because he knows he might lose me before we reach the groceries otherwise. Sounds like El Hub has accepted his fate 😉
