♥ Favorite Halloween costume of all time – I was a princess in 7th grade, and I had this old southern belle bridesmaid dress in peach with a giant hoop skirt, I had curls, and glitter errywhere.
What a cute dress! I bet it’s adorable with black tights and boots.
That’s how I usually wear it! It could stand to be a little bit longer, but other than that it’s perfect.
I’d add in a chunky scarf and a leather jacket. And some hoops! And tons of cat hair. LOL! #letsbereal
I don’t have pierced ears, but am on board with the rest, especially the cat hair. Mina is a beauty fiend too, she’s always stealing and hiding my favorite products.
It’s all fun and games until the cat steals your favorite Shu Uemura Lash Curler. I’m still missing two of them! I have no idea where Tabs hides them.

❤️ Favorite candle – I’m lazy. I picked up a few of those flickering battery operated real wax candles with timers at T.J. Maxx. When I come home, they’re on!
♥ Favorite lip color – Nars Audacious Lipsticks in Raquel (nude) and Bette (deep Berry). I’m also addicted to Dior and Chanel lipsticks-too many to list. Lipsticks give me life!
♥ Favorite beverage – Ice water first and foremost. I’m never without it. Oregon Pinot Noir from my favorite wineries, second. Oh, and I grew up in Seattle so Starbucks is my fav. To me, it’s still ‘local coffee’.
♥ Favorite blush – Tarte Natural Beauty and Exposed are my go to blushes. LOVE them!
♥ Favorite article of clothing – Well, I’m 49 and I work in a professional environment so I’m sure my favorite articles of clothing are pretty boring. I just wear dress slacks from Ann Taylor a nice blouse and a Halogen cardigan with Tory Burch or Cole Haan heels most days.
♥ Favorite movie this fall so far – Hotel Transylvania 2. I’m just a big kid at heart.
♥ Favorite TV show this fall – Don’t really have one specific show this year.
♥ Favorite thing to eat on Thanksgiving – My infamous Sourdough, Italian sausage and pear stuffing. It’s and old Food and Wine recipe and it wouldn’t be T-day without it! It’s even better the second day!
♥ Favorite Halloween costume of all time- Cheerleader/ 70’s roller disco queen combination. I was in 7 th grade and I was pretty sure I was smoking hot in that costume (stripped knee-high tube socks, Pom Poms and blue glitter eyeshadow!)
♥ Favorite candle- Sugar and Spice, Autumn in the Park, and Buttercream, all from Yankee Candle! Sugar and Spice is a sweet cinnamon, Autumn is crisp apples and leaves, and Buttercream is just glorious and smells like frosting. 🙂
♥ Favorite lip color- At the moment, it’s a tie between Clinique’s Black Honey and Kat Von D Studded Kiss in LoveCraft. LoveCraft is more of a mauve on me, which is perfect for Fall.
♥ Favorite beverage- Iced Tea. Green iced tea, black iced tea, passionfruit iced tea, any tea with ice cubes! And NO sugar/sweetener. Bitter is better!
♥ Favorite blush- Hourglass Ambient Blush in Mood Exposure. It’s a plummy sort-of shade, and looks perfect on everyone.
♥ Favorite article of clothing- Lately since it’s been so hot in Orange County, I’d have to say lace-y shirts. They’re nice and lightweight, plus the lace looks great for Fall.
♥ Favorite movie this fall so far- Not Fall related, but I saw Interstellar a few days ago. It was the best movie I’d seen all year, it’s fantastic!
♥ Favorite TV show this fall- American Horror Story. Just started watching this on Netflix, and it’s the perfect amount of creepy for Halloween. Finished Murder House two days ago, and Asylum already has me spooked!
♥ Favorite thing to eat on Thanksgiving- Pumpkin Pie!
♥ Favorite Halloween costume of all time- Ooh, that’s a toughie. Either a Raider fan (4th grade and high school), Waldo (high school), or Dorothy (1st grade). For Dorothy, I had the dress, braids, little red shoes, and even a basket with Toto!

What a fun video! I am intrigued by the blackberry cucumber La Croix. I’m going to look for it next time I’m at target. It sounds very refreshing. I’m not dressing up for Halloween this year, but I did buy Mingus a costume! He’s gonna hate it. 🙂

I got him a shark costume, but I haven’t put it on him yet. I’m sure he won’t love it, but it attaches via Velcro like is walking harness so hopefully it won’t be too bad. Tabs is such a good sport! The mermaid outfit is so cute. 🙂
Ooh, can he wear his costume and his harness at the same time? Maybe that way he can show off his gear!
I’ll have to see about that! I think maybe the costume would cover the harness, but it would be hilarious if I took him out for a walk with the costume. The Great White Tabby prowling the neighborhood. 🙂

Favorite candle: Yankee Candle Sparkling Cinnamon…it’s really a Christmas candle, but I stock up on them and burn them all winter and fall…love the way it makes the house smell warm and cozy!
♥ Favorite lip color: I’m currently into a combination of Clinique chubby stick Broadest Berry paired with Clinique Butter Shine in Pink Goddess…gives my pale skin a little boost
♥ Favorite beverage: Trying really hard to stay away from soda and diet soda, so I’m trying out different unsweetened teas to find out which one tastes best to me. I’m liking the Gold Peak bottled tea if I can’t make my own
♥ Favorite blush: I’m boring…have worn Clinique Mocha Pink for years, and it’s still my go-to
♥ Favorite article of clothing: Just got a new sweater from the Limited online, and I’m thinking I’ll be wearing it a lot in the next few months. It’s grey, with slashes of tan and deep red. Sounds awful the way I described it, but have gotten a lot of compliments on it whenever I’ve worn it
♥ Favorite movie this fall so far: Haven’t been to the movies in a while, so none at the moment. Thinking the new Diane Keaton and John Goodman movie coming out next month looks funny, though

♥ Favorite candle — anything cinnamon or spice scented is fine by me. My hubby is the real candle lover in the house. I like to get a bag of those cinnamon scented pine cones and place it close to a heater vent, so the scent wafts through the house.
♥ Favorite lip color — so far this fall my favorites have been Kat von D Studded Kiss Lipstick in Piaf, Nyx Liquid Suede in Stone Fox, Jcat Pout-holic in Candy Man, ColourPop Ultra Matte in Dr. M.
♥ Favorite beverage — hot chocolate with cinnamon and freshly grated nutmeg.
♥ Favorite blush — my favorites for fall are The Balm Cabana Boy, Sleek Pomegranate, Sleek Pink Parfait, Urban Decay Afterglow Blush in Rapture, Tarte Exposed, and Clinique Cola Pop.
♥ Favorite article of clothing — I love cozy sweaters!
♥ Favorite movie this fall so far — Crimson Peak It’s the only one I’ve gone and seen so far, but I really liked it.
♥ Favorite TV show this fall — The Walking Dead, but I only have Netflix, so I’m usually half a season to a season behind. I just finished Season 5, so I’m working my way through American Horror Story now. (With having to stay off my cast, I’m watching way more TV than usual.)
♥ Favorite thing to eat on Thanksgiving — ummmm…everything? Hubby and I are really good cooks.
♥ Favorite Halloween costume of all time — I did a sexy vampire my senior year of high school and my hubby (then boyfriend) was Dracula. Back then I had the body for it. lol I once did an ugly, old wicked witch with full-on makeup that ended up scaring the little kids, so I retired it, but it was an awesome costume. Last year I was a shattered doll, and I really liked it. I like to dress up to give out the treats, but with my cast I won’t be doing that job this year.

♥ Favorite TV show this fall – Scream Queens, but it’s been losing steam the last couple of weeks
♥ Favorite thing to eat on Thanksgiving – Dressing, cranberry sauce (homemade only) and mashed potatoes.
♥ Favorite Halloween costume of all time – In college, I went as the Green Fairy ala absinthe and Moulin Rouge. I wore a green halter dress with green fairy wings and carried around a big plastic Perrier bottle filled with ouzo that I dyed green. I also took off the Perrier label and glued old-fashioned absinthe labels I found online. My hair was hot rolled and teased and I wore lots of green eye makeup and glitter! Last year, I did an awesome Magenta from Rocky Horror but literally everyone at the party I was at had never seen the movie so it was basically pointless.

♥ Favorite Halloween costume of all time- A cow! From the TV show Cow and Chicken, of course.
♥ Favorite candle- I bought two from Avon, a salted caramel one and one called autumn day. I assumed I’d like the former since I prefer ‘warm’ scents, but I really like the fruity touches of Autumn day better.
♥ Favorite lip color- Mac Dubonnet or Viva Glam I (I never get as many compliments when I wear a different red).
♥ Favorite beverage- I only drink water, wine and tea. For fall, It’s the Pumpkin Chai Spice Tea (DavidsTea).
♥ Favorite blush- a mix of Mac peachykeen and Hourglass mood exposure.
♥ Favorite article of clothing- I have this cranberry jacket and matching boots, and this red,brown and beige rose scarf and they look so lovely all together. Fall is an extremely short season where I live, so I don’t get to enjoy it for very long.
♥ Favorite movie this fall so far- Haven’t seen a fall related movie in so long, let’s just say Halloween Town? I used to love those haha.
♥ Favorite TV show this fall- The Vampire Diaries (Damon? Swoon) and I just finished Netflix Scream (more funny than anything, but it was still entertaining.)

♥ Favorite Halloween costume of all time- I was a mourning black widow, with the perfect black hat and black screen covering my face. I wore usual funeral attire, lots of black eye makeup, pale face, and dark black-red lips. I carried around a blackened rose. It was fun 🙂
