Bold, Glossy and Bright, Chanel’s New Coral Nail Colour Dives Into Summer: Chanel Lilis Le Vernis Nail Colour
As far as I’m concerned, any factoid or tidbit of information can also be used to justify spending time with Chanel’s new coral, Lilis Le Vernis Nail Colour.
- Had the most insane week ever? (Yup, my kitty boss is cray!) Let’s unwind with Chanel.
- Did you floss your teeth this morning? (Sure did.) Now let’s brush our nails with Chanel.
- Did you successfully resist the urge to wear Pajama Jeans to Trader Joe’s? (So far.) Cool! Let’s stay home and paint our nails with Chanel.

I’ve been wearing it on my fingers this week with Azuré on my toes, and even though they aren’t colors I’d normally think to wear together, I like the way they complement each other.

How Many Brushes Do You Use to Apply Your Makeup?
Have you ever stopped to count? I did the other day, just for kicks, and was like, WHOA! No wonder I feel like I’m always cleaning those suckers.
From start to finish, for an eye look with 1-3 shadows, I probably average between 8-12 brushes.
- Foundation brush
- Blending brush to buff foundation
- Concealer brush
- Domed fluffy brush (to apply powder to set concealer)
- Powder blush for face powder
- Bronzer brush
- Blush brush
- Angled brush to fill in brows
- Flat eye shadow brush to apply color to lids
- Tapered blending brush to blend eye shadow
- Domed brush for crease
- Small pencil brush for lash lines
When I’m in a hurry, of course, I pare that waaay down to maybe a brow brush, a concealer brush, a powder brush, a blush/bronzer brush and a domed eye brush.
